Anti-2A LA Sheriff Releases 4,276 “Nonviolent” Inmates Over Pandemic, Fears Increase in Crime

LA Sheriff Alex Villanueva released 4,276 “nonviolent” inmates as a precautionary move to reduce those contracting the China virus, “We were faced with a choice, if we left the jail system fully populated and overpopulated then the pandemic is a lot easier to sweep through the jail system and jeopardize everyone’s safety.” Nice of him to be concerned about the prisoners safety, but what about the law-abiding people's safety in the communities these criminals will be living around, since Villanueva admits his fears there will be an increase in crime?

There is no doubt crime will go up and how convenient this monster, who threatened to "physically remove ICE agents from the county jails," has done everything in his power to close up gun shops leaving citizens defenseless!

Something is going to happen, someone is going to get hurt and God help Villanueva if it's one of the inmates he cut loose!

Americans get it and understand precautions have to be taken to ensure everyone's safety/health, and that those imprisoned are not subjected to cruel and unusual punishment. That being said alternatives for detaining "nonviolent" criminals should've been taken. The Army Corps of Engineers, who have built hospitals in hot zones, could've been brought in to build temporary housing on prison grounds, allowing inmates to be spread out while still detained. Maybe some hotels could've been "rented" by the state to house these "non-violent" criminals versus cutting them loose among the people. For what it's worth a cruise ship can house an estimated 3000 people, why not load 2 ships up with inmates? Granted it would be hard on the guards but again maybe the National Guard could be utilized for security?!

LA County Sheriff Says Illegal Aliens Have Protection Under the US Constitution

Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva took questions at a town hall event, one in particular was why he is removing ICE from county jails. He told attendees "undocumented residents", aka illegal aliens, are protected under the US Constitution!

Either the Sheriff doesn't know the laws or is telling a lie! Maybe CA has passed laws that violate federal laws with respect to illegal immigration, but the only "protection" or "right" an illegal has in the US is to a hearing, they are not entitled to all the benefits and protections under the US Constitution. That is NOT this site saying that, this comes from former Attorney General and Federal Judge, Michael Mukasey, "Once an alien gets here, that person has rights that are similar to the rights that a US Citizen has. They have a right to a hearing, they can't be treated arbitrarily.... Aliens have NO RIGHTS under the US Constitution."

What Villanueva is doing here is what Leftists do across the board, whether they're a sheriff, media personality to a politician. They make things up, especially laws, repeating them over and over again until the lies are treated like facts. The shining example of this is all the nonsense over claims of collusion against Pres Trump. Collusion IS NOT a crime, there are NO statutes on the books for collusion. The Left made it up and has been running with it for years where it is now treated like a law! Same thing happened with DACA, it's not law. It was an Executive Order obama used where he himself made it clear was temporary and NOT a pathway to citizenship, but to this day federal judges will make rulings as if DACA is law and anything against it is a violation!!

Take note when he speaks about federal and state authority. He leaves out the fact that his state CA is VIOLATING federal law by being a sanctuary state.

Selective law-enforcement is what you see and hear here, to where attendees are calling him out for not telling the truth. This sheriff and many like him who choose to violate the laws protect illegals and other criminals need to be removed from power. Keep that in mind the next election cycle if you're one of those types who will sit home if the candidate you want isn't on the ballot. Elections have consequences.

LA County's New Sheriff Announces Plans to "Physically Remove ICE From County Jails"

Newly elected Los Angeles County Sheriff, Alex Villanueva, after being sworn in, briefly spoke at the LA County Board of Supervisors meeting announcing plans to comply with the Truth Act (Transparent Review of Unjust Transfers and Holds) and that 'we [Sheriffs Dept] are going to physically remove ICE agents from the county jails'.... putting monsters on the streets of America.

CA, being a Sanctuary State, defying federal immigration law, is now taking broad steps to protect criminal illegal aliens. ICE agents at local jails are trying to protect US citizens from monsters who have no right to be in this country, where as the CA legislature sees it differently wanting to keep them here. So those of you in the democrat controlled media make sure you point that out the next time you have a Kate Steinle or Jamil Shaw Jr story in front of you.

Coinciding with this ban of ICE agents, the Sheriff then expanded on plans to also comply with a section of “Sanctuary State” Bill SB54 with regards to misdemeanors and felonies committed by illegals, where the Sheriff's Dept will 'pair the list down substantially'. In other words they're not going to arrest and charge illegals with certain crimes; for example CA in general now lists theft of $950 or less a misdemeanor! use your imagination of the criminals they'll be cutting loose on America's streets.

In a nutshell CA is out of control, the leadership is acting like a country within the US doing as they please showing absolute disregard for US citizens. Americans are second class citizens, and if you are white, educated and conservative you are a third class citizen. CA being on the Mexican border is a gateway to illegals entering the US with their Sanctuary State status. People from all over the world enter the state and then fan out across America, including criminal illegal aliens this Sheriff has announced he will more or less cut loose after they physically remove ICE from the jails. How many killers will they cut loose? How many terrorists will they now pass up on who will move into YOUR neighborhood waiting for the opportunity to strike? This is a national security issue the state of CA cannot make decisions on. The DOJ should be sent in and arrests should be made under current US immigration laws for harboring aiding and assisting illegal.
