The Singapore Summit between the US and North Korea was successful. Pres Trump and Kim Jong Un mutually signed an agreement where KJU has committed to the complete denuclearization of the Korean peninsula! Along with that the US has "committed to provide security guarantees to the DPRK".
Below is the text of the agreement the two leaders mutually signed today:
"President Donald J. Trump of the United States of America and Chairman Kim Jong Un of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) held a first, historic summit in Singapore on June 12, 2018.
President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un conducted a comprehensive, in-depth and sincere exchange of opinions on the issues related to the establishment of new US-DPRK relations and the building of a lasting and robust peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.
President Trump committed to provide security guarantees to the DPRK, and Chairman Kim Jong Un reaffirmed his firm and unwavering commitment to complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
Convinced that the establishment of new US-DPRK relations will contribute to the peace and prosperity of the Korean Peninsula and of the world, and recognizing that mutual confidence building cam promote the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un state the following:
1) The United States and the DPRK commit to establish new US-DPRK relations in accordance with the desire of the peoples of the two countries for peace and prosperity.
2) The United States and DPRK will join their efforts to build a lasting and stable peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.
3) Reaffirming the April 27, 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, the DPRK commits to work toward complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula
4) The United States and the DPRK commit to recovering POW/MIA remains, including the immediate repatriation of those already identified.
Having acknowledged that the US-DPRK summit -- the first in history -- was an epochal event of great significance in overcoming decades of tensions and hostilities between the two countries and for the opening up of a new future, President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un commit to implement the stipulations in the joint statement fully and expeditiously. The United States and the DPRK commit to hold follow-on negotiations, led by the US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, and a relevant high-level DPRK official, at the earliest possible date, to implement the outcomes of the US-DPRK summit.

While much work is still ahead and there will most likely be some major roadblocks, the world just got a little safer today.
Now that said, we must address the domestic problem...
When many democrats wake up today they will see the headlines where you may hear a loud popping sound, kind of like a watermelon being busted open) or screaming like this...
...because dems heads will be exploding coast-to-coast, since the majority of them were rooting for this summit to fail. They took to the airwaves and social media attacking Pres Trump, questioning his ability to negotiate, commenting on his lack of experience and preparation all of which has been proven wrong.
The Left, along with the NeverTrumpers (one in the same AFAIC), will attack the agreement, and congressional leaders will be critical, making demands and expecting a place at the table! No thanks, you all had your chance to grow the hell up, but choose to be the monsters you are.
By all means democrats/ Leftists please keep up the negativity, attack Trump, side with MS-13, illegal aliens, threaten to impeach POTUS and raise taxes (aka take Americans money away) etc. You're become so irrelevant it wouldn't be a surprise if blue blood moderate dems, TIRED of the lies and childish antics coming from the hard left since Nov 9th 2016, cross the aisle and vote GOP in the midterms and Trump in 2020.
