The nation was warned this power grab over the internet was coming but like everything Americans sit around do nothing expecting someone else to come along to do something about.
What will happen now? Immediately nothing but the first thing to expect is a hike in prices, taxes and fees since the web, obamanet, will be regulated like a public utility. This power grab down the road (next3-5 years) will most likely lead to established standards to censorship of internet content and of course licensing. The govt regulates the radio and tv so the standards established for them will apply to web content, it is inevitable. That could very well mean small sites like Saving the Republic to large ones like The Blaze, Huffington Post, Politico, Daily Caller and Drudge etc will have to submit to govt standards on the content delivered aka information you have access to.
We don't know for sure what will become of the net because the 332 page plan was kept from the people but now that obamanet is passed we can see it so time will tell. One thing is for sure the sharing of information will be under federal control, they will one day dictate what we can and cannot say. Days of exposing corruption, scandals may be coming to an end where we will be forced to rely on state controlled news agencies aka media for information. 3 people in the FCC just brought us to living in Orwells 1984...
Oh btw did you know Soros played a hand in this?
1. How long before the fcc rules that digital TV must be treated like any video offered by any website and TV as we know it is gone ?

2. How long after TV is treated like any website video before the FCC steps in and applies it's decency standards to all streaming video ?

If all bits must be treated equally in a fair and open internet, then all bits must be regulated equally. Will the FCC regulate twitter?

4. #NetNeutrality is amazing for @CyberDustApp because it will drive people off of Public apps to avoid regs. It's horrible for America

5. Say goodbye to QVC on digital TV. If all bits are equal, they are a paid prioritization stream . Bits are bits
