Jan 2016 Speaker Ryan Promised Obamacare Would Be Repealed

Jan 2016 Speaker Paul Ryan made this video in response to obama vetoing the repeal of obamacare Congress passed after voting on it 60 times. Yet 14 months later Ryan does not bring up the same law for a vote for Trump to sign as promised!?

"There is a clear path to repealing Obamacare without 60 votes in the Senate. So next year if we're sending this bill to republican president it will get signed into law, obamacare will be gone."

While the House Freedom Caucus is being blamed, pundits leave out the 19(est) moderate republicans who balked at Ryan's plan as well! The progressive republicans bill, that didn't even get a vote, is a lite version of obamacare, it did not defund Planned Parenthood, was still on course to collapse and would have more or less transfer ownership of obamacare to Trump and the GOP. That would have resulted in 2018 midterm election losses and most likely giving power of the House, possibly the Senate, back to the democrats. The same democrats who are looking for anyway possible to impeach Pres Trump! The truth of the matter is the Freedom Caucus saved Trump's first term!

Those close to Trump who understand this need to spell it out to him and he needs to thank them along with the other republicans who backed away. Make no mistake about it Paul Ryan is no friend to the Trump admin, he needs to go, as Judge Pirro argued. Just wait America until immigration reform comes up for a vote if Ryan is still in power, your head will explode!

Thanks to a handful of conservatives, rebels really, there wasn't enough votes to bring obamacare lite to the House floor for a vote. The democrats like clockwork ran to the cameras and social media claiming victory. They seem to forget the temper tantrums they've been throwing for the last couple of weeks let alone 24-48 hours defending obamacare. Fmr pres obama and hillary clinton chimed in as well, all of which are taking full ownership of this law NO ONE asked for.

Democrats are on official record now claiming obamacare is a wonderful bill, a savior to mankind and overwhelmingly successful. As Pres Trump stated clearly it will stay in force until it collapses. Democrats had their chance to chime in with the GOPe's horrible bill to possibly produce something workable, but instead chose to stay on the sidelines. That's great because they helped prove conservatives point how bad it all really is while also providing ammo for the midterm elections and 2020 general election! That's right! The threat of republicans losing in the midterms just took a nosedive after today. Democrats should have jumped on board with this bill with so many republican and conservative voters opposed to it because it would have meant primary challenges. And dems it also means your dream to impeach Trump, for breathing at this point, are nothing but dreams now!

You all fell for it, you now completely and totally OWN obamacare. You had a chance to transfer ownership and pin it on republicans but blew it! Thank you!

So by all means continue to run to MSNBC, CNN and the networks about how awesome your bill is, when it collapses there will be no question who is responsible.

Rep Gohmert: GOP Leadership 'LIED' to Trump About Obamacare Repeal

"God bless him [Trump] he's been lied to, we've been lied to, this is a bad bill. It keeps Obamacare in place in perpetuity you won't get rid of it."

Rep Louie Gohmert read the bill. Sen Rand Paul read the bill... it seems those who have read the bill are adamant Paul Ryan's healthcare bill is a disaster. Pres Trump asking Ryan to pull this obamacare replacement is a smart move. Gohmert is right as painful as this may be for Trump right now it saves him from the democrats regaining majority and impeaching him for breathing!

IMO Trump doesn't know the whole story, he is only being told the "good parts" by his handlers like Reince Priebus and Ryan, convincing him AHCA is the best deal.

#1 Paul Ryan DID NOT want to be Speaker of the House. Conservatives were against him being Speaker. Ever since he lost the 2012 Presidential election he went left joining the GOPe. If you think what he's done with this healthcare bill is bad wait until you see what he will do with immigration! This is same guy who went dark after his 2012 loss working behind scenes with socialist Luis Guteirrez on immigration reform. This is the same Ryan who told town hall attendees in 2013 "We’re going to vote on a bill to legalize people who are undocumented”

#2 The GOP has majority after winning multiple elections because they PROMISED they would repeal obamacare. Voters elected these people on that sole issue. NO ONE asked them to create a bill that was a lite version. NO ONE asked them to take ownership of the very bill that is collapsing on itself. Obama and the democrats stand by their law, fine leave it in place, let it collapse they will be to blame because they are the ones thundering away it will be the end of the world if the GOPe's version replaced it.

#3 "Millions are without health coverage," fine then why not create something for those without and leave the rest of us the hell alone!?
NO ONE ASKED CONGRESS TO TAKE OVER THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM. This is progressives (D's&R's) using a "crisis" to seize more power.

#4 If this bill is resurrected passes the House, makes it through the Senate those who vote for it will be primaried and thrown out of office. They better hope they're replaced with a conservative otherwise Nancy Pelosi will be Speaker again.

#5 Gohmert and the Freedom Caucus ARE NOT to blame for the bill failing today (for now). They are standing on principles unlike the GOPe who have been smoked out supporting this law the people never asked for.

Congressman Warns Under RyanCare Illegals Could Get Subsidies, While Veterans May Lose Subsidies

Rep Thomas Massie, a member of the House Freedom Caucus, just dropped more bad news about obamacare lite/ RyanCare. The powers that be, aka swamp monsters, have cut a provision that would prevent illegal aliens from getting coverage! Yea you heard and read it right, the GOPe tweaked their plan that would allow illegals to get healthcare tax credits. It sounds crazy but read it for yourself....

"The provision would have allowed the Treasury Department to access data at the Department of Homeland Security to verify that healthcare tax credits went only to U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents, not to illegal immigrants.

In a largely procedural move, it was dropped from the bill after the Senate Parliamentarian determined that the Senate Finance Committee, which handles tax credits under the bill, does not have purview over the Department of Homeland Security.

Republican Representative Lou Barletta issued a statement on Monday evening, after the change was made, saying he could no longer support the bill, citing the obscure provision." -Reuters

To make matters worse Massie pointed out veterans who could go to the VA but choose not to, will not receive healthcare subsidies as everyone else in the individual market!

Glenn Beck's response to Massie's bird bath analogy to the Senate's "Byrd Rule" is right, "I'd like to drown a lot of these birds!"

How can anyone vote for this mess!? And make no mistake about it Paul Ryan is the head.. King Swamp Monster behind all of this nonsense! Careers will be ruined if this law passes, not to mention heavy damage to Trump's presidency!

Anyone... ANYONE in Congress voting in favor of this bill should be primaried (thrown out of office), especially those who have campaigned in the past saying how bad obamacare is and they would do everything possible to repeal it! The American people didn't protest and elect people to go to DC to replace obamacare with another horrible healthcare law.

Let's hope Rep Massie, Sen Paul and others are correct that many republicans will vote against this law that will be as bad if not worse than barackobamacare.

Conservative Congress Members Voice Opposition to GOPe's Obamacare Lite Bill

The GOPe introduced their healthcare bill draft that has been ridiculed to say the least by conservatives as obamacare lite. For six years we protested and fought against this obamination of a law where those we elected promised they would get rid of it only to reproduce it. As expected not everyone in DC is on board with this new plan and a handful of rebels from the House of Rep's Freedom Caucus and Senators Rand Paul, Mike Lee stepped forward to let us know they will fight against this bill.

This is not what the people of America want. Who told Congress to get involved with our healthcare in the first place? They should pass simple stand alone bills with regards to pre-existing conditions, allowing free-market where people in CA can buy insurance in NJ and a few others that were actually good in ACA. They want to create healthcare for those who can't afford it fine do that but leave us alone. As for making sure everyone has the best care, why doesn't Congress just open the doors to the Cadillac plan they all have! Other than that govt should stay the hell out of our business. One more thing whatever they pass they all better be signed up for it too!

You should know though, Trump approves of this draft by the GOPe, again it's obamacare lite. As reported on this site way back in Feb 2016 during the primaries Trump said he will enact universal health care (aka single payer) 'I don’t care if it costs me votes’.
