There is nothing in the first or current executive order that specifically targets muslims, but none of that matters to news entertainment CNN. Sebastian Gorka schooled Chris Cuomo on multiple points while he desperately tried to argue the EO is a muslim ban. How is it possible that this ban is a religious and racial ban when Egypt and Indonesia, two of the largest muslim and arab countries, are not included? Cuomo of course dances around as he gets talking points through his earpiece. He can't seem to comprehend the nations named, first off, are from obama's list. These nations have no stable/ viable govt in place where a State Dept rep can pick up the phone and get info on an "immigrant". There are NO records to cross-reference! How can we run a background check on people who have no records!?
For the hell of it let's assume Pres Trump did in fact target muslims. Assume the language is in the EO.. IT DOESN'T MATTER! Aside from immigrants have NO Constitutional rights or protections, POTUS has the legal authority to deny "any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States" per Under 8 US Code § 1182 – Inadmissible aliens
“…(f) Suspension of Entry or Imposition of Restrictions by President
Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate. Whenever the Attorney General finds that a commercial airline has failed to comply with regulations of the Attorney General relating to requirements of airlines for the detection of fraudulent documents used by passengers traveling to the United States (including the training of personnel in such detection), the Attorney General may suspend the entry of some or all aliens transported to the United States by such airline.”
Cuomo, CNN and all of the left are on record wanting America's "door" left wide-open to anyone from anywhere even after countless attacks carried out by jihadists in the UK, France, Belgium etc. They refuse to accept travel to America is NOT a right, but a privilege. They also refuse to accept the US Constitution IS NOT a treaty with the rest of the world. A person who has never left the middle of the Sahara Desert doesn't have religious rights, under the First Amendment, the left claims this EO violates.
These leftists also can't seem to grasp that WHEN the US gets hit, and should the attackers entry be traced back to the travel ban block, they will be held directly responsible. They have created the hysteria and public opinion to sway federal judges to make decisions on feelings than Constitutional law jeopardizing national security. Lefties care more about "immigrants" and "refugees" that you and yours!
