Trump Announces Immigration System Overhaul to Merit-Based

The merit-based immigration policy proposed today by Pres Trump (he also proposed it in 2017), is not new, it’s how the immigration system used to work in America before politicians, mainly democrats, RUINED IT. How do I know? Because my father who came to the US in the 60’s entered under the merit system!

Many times in family discussion when immigration comes up the story is told how my grandfather (mothers father) had to sign for my father to come to the US from Italy. My grandfather had to vouch for my father that he was educated, had a job and place to live. My father spoke broken English, he had to go to night school to read, write and LEARN American history to EARN his citizenship. Democrats are against this, they want open border policy for anyone to enter and do as they please. Look at the mess they’ve created where we now have the equivalent of the population of Orlando FL entering the US every two months, or haven't you noticed how widespread it is now to "dial #1 for English" and seeing bilingual commercials, ads and signage?

As for my great grandparents on my mothers side, they came through Ellis Island. They had something to offer America. When they came here they didn’t speak English but had to learn to get work otherwise they wouldn’t have money for food as there was NO welfare system. As a matter of fact BOTH of my great-grandfathers came to the US first saved their money and then sent for the rest of their families when they had homes and income to support them! They didn’t come here expecting a nation to assimilate to them, as we have today, because if you don't you are labeled a racist and bigot. No, my Italian ancestors ASSIMILATED to American culture to the degree that English, once learned, was spoken in the home! They were proud to be Americans, entrepreneurs, hard-working people in construction who built roads and bridges some of you on the East Coast have probably traveled on!

The Left like clockwork wants to make this immigration plan about racism, bigotry and the Presidents alleged unfounded ties to White Nationalists. That couldn’t be further from the truth, fact is NO ONE has a right to come to the US. This govt like any govt has the right to decide who does and doesn’t enter. You have to have something to offer this country to make it better. The Left is against such policy, they want the US to be nothing but an entitlement welfare provider for immigrants (legal and illegal) who are immediately tagged and pandered as minorities to increase democrat voters rolls. That's all the Left cares about when it comes to immigration, "how can we make these people vote for us".

Do not fall for the Left’s lies, a merit-based system is the right way to handle immigration. Limits, quotas, should be in place, anyone entering should be able to speak English and care for themselves. Those on the Left against this proposal are showing their cards again, they can’t defend their position against this policy so they pull the racism and bigotry card. Don't bend a knee to these people. They don't care about you, and they most definitely don't care about the immigrants (legal and illegal) coming to this country. It's all about money power and control to them.

Dem Senator Sinema Warned to Watch Her Butt For Applauding Trump

Newly elected AZ dem Senator Kyrsten Sinema found herself applauding Pres Trump during his SOTU speech. If you viewed the entire address you know the majority of democrats for most of the time sat with stone faces, like bratty children, as POTUS made great points. There were a few times they did rise to join GOP members to applaud him, but the majority were following orders to be emotionless.

Apparently Sen Simema applauded Trump one too many times where NV Sen Jacky Rosen stood up to warn her, as if no one would see it!

You don't need to be a professional lip reader to see that Rosen clearly told Sinema she better "watch your ass"! It is a crime to the democrats to show any approval towards POTUS when he speaks positively as he did hear about passing Right to Try bill, which gives critically ill patients access to experimental treatment. That's right America, this democrat applauding a bill passed and signed by Trump to give terminally ill people a fighting chance at life will more than likely be reprimanded by Schumer and Pelosi.

Now yours truly is NO fan of Sinema's and the democrat party in any way, but aren't dems supposed to be the ones who are all about free speech, supporting women and their right to express themselves?? Yet if you watched the SOTU you will see a sea of women who were told what to wear, where to sit, when to or not applaud! For all intents and purposes they acted like people oppressed but it wasn't Trump doing it to them, it was their own party leaders. This is how dems roll and if given more power it's what they'll do to this country.

Those GOP/ republican voters who sat home election day 2018 are you happy? You put these people in office because of your childish, spiteful "pride". Trump Gets Orlando, FL Voters to Raise Right Hands and Swear to Vote For Him

First off, in his defense NO Trump did not ask his supporters to take a pledge of allegiance to him. However, he did have these people raise their right hands and swear to vote for him in the FL primary. Regardless how one interprets this I find it disturbing for anyone, be it Trump, Cruz, Rubio... obama, to ask people to swear to do anything.

This is America we swear an allegiance to God and Country not man and government.

Do we need someone with this kind of temperament dealing with other leaders who could say the wrong thing out of the heat of the moment?

If you are a conservative and TEA Party activist who supports Trump aren't you concerned that he takes you for granted even thinking this low of you? Listen to the crowd they actually cheered and applauded him saying he could shoot somebody and wouldn't lose voters! What does that say about our country? Have you truly abandoned all your values, MORALS and principles you've been fighting for over the last 10+ years for someone who will do what he wants because obama, the democrat party... progressives have been so destructive and divisive to America?

This isn't who we are America. I implore you to do your homework on this man outside of sources who are bias with their devout support of Trump. You were enraged over the lack of proper vetting of obama, please don't make the same mistake in 2016, this nation cannot survive another divisive destructive presidency.
