The House Judiciary held a markup hearing(full vid below) to push through their gun control bill, HR 7910 “Protecting Our Kids Act”, where many showed their true side proving they’re actually enemies of the Republic vowing to destroy 2A.
Before we go further lets get something clear, these people SWORE an oath to support and defend the Constitution, and yet here we have them on official record vowing to destroy it. This is treason IMO, and I'm not using that word lightly.

When the Founders wrote the Constitution, and more specifically the Second Amendment, it wasn't about guaranteeing one's right to hunt, or engage in sport shooting. Bob Frank O'Rourke is pushing hard on his "hell yes we're going to take your guns" promise to stay relevant to democrat voters, in his futile quest to be President. As you would expect after that performance he put on in Houston, Beta is back on the network circuit piling on with his outlandish, threatening and illegal statement. To make matters worse Beta is gaslighting the country on what the Second Amendment actually means because apparently he knows the Founders true intentions better they did.
You cannot buyback something that was never yours to begin with using peoples own money to buy it back. Americans will follow the law, but not when it comes to dealing with TYRANTS, who are threatening to take illegally (gun confiscation/ "mandatory buyback" is direct 2A violation) take private citizens property (4A violation). There is nothing "Constitutionally sound" with what he is proposing, it is govt theft of the highest order. Shall not be infringed applies to all of the above including trying to use the Commerce Clause against it.
Also there are NO republican gun owners willing to hand over their guns as he suggests. They're probably progressives who migrated to Texas from NY, CA, NJ or some other democrat stronghold the Left made unlivable even for their own.
This man is a fool demonstrating his lack of intelligence, so we're not going to go on and on bashing him here, because why? Instead we're going to get brutally honest and TRUTHFUL over what the Founders said and meant. So let's cut to the chase, when Leftists say 2A was never intended for people to have access to nuclear weapons (yea we're going there right now!) they're categorically, demonstrably WRONG!
You have to put your mindset into the Founders and what was going on in their time. They got into a war with the biggest most powerful military in the entire world, partly over gun control! They had "assault weapons"/ "weapons of war" back then (aka pistols, muskets, semi-auto weapons (YEAH THEY DID!) cannons etc), that the British were trying to confiscate. After winning the war the Founders drew up the Constitution with the full intentions per THEIR WORDS for the people to be as well armed as the govt, so the people would not be in the same position they were in going into the Revolution. They wanted small govt, the people to live free, and politicians to have a limited PART-TIME role running the country, because the last thing they wanted was some bloated bureaucracy, a govt too big for itself where things could get out of control again (Yea we know look at the US today). Remember they just got done fighting a war the last thing they wanted was to have to go through that again thus the Second Amendment.
If the Founders were here today they would listen to the debate on guns and ask the Left:
"Does the govt have access to 'assault weapons', bazookas, cannons, tanks, fighter aircraft.... nuclear weapons?"
Left would have to answer "Yes"
Founders logical answer based on what they went through and intended when they created this country (per their words):
"If govt has these weapons then the people should have access to them as well!"
Again they wanted small limited govt, considered the people militia and wanted them as well armed as the govt they created because the People are the last Check [Checks and Balances] on govt outside of the 3 Branches they established in the Constitution.

There are MANY civilians in possession of military weapons/ weapons of war. If you have the resources, money and clean background you too can have a machine gun up to and including a M134 minigun, various sized cannons & mortars, and other weapons. If you're filthy rich you can have a decommissioned fighter jet, tank, armored personnel carrier etc! Beto is just plain wrong and without a shred of a clue.
No one is taking anyones guns because that will spark off a Second Civil War in this country faster than any other hot issue in this country. As predicted following Beto's vow to confiscate guns if elected, the other dem candidates are jumping on the bandwagon. Joe Biden told reporters that he wants to ban all weapons that have multiple round magazines, in other words all semi-auto guns (handguns and rifles).
"..magazines that have multiple bullets in them..." FTR all semi-automatic weapons are fed via fixed or removable magazine, or belt fed. What he is calling for IS a semi-auto gun ban.
Biden then tries to reassure people 2A rights won't be violated when in reality it will based on what he and the others want to do, "...this is not any - in any way a violation of the Second Amendment. The Second Amendment doesn't say you can own any weapon you want, it never said that."

Secondly, the Second Amendment IS absolute as it is the ONLY Amendment in the US Constitution that has its own 'Do Not Touch' clause - "...shall not be infringed." Four simple words the Left for decades has ignored with the abundance of gun laws they passed in this country that are a direct violation of the law (2A).
It's amazing how the Founders are praised over their genius with the creation of the Constitution yet the same people praising their genius swear what they wrote in 2A they didn't mean!

Swalwell vowed to bring New Zealand and Australian style gun control to America. In a nutshell he wants to ban "military style assault weapons", "weapons of war" (whatever in the hell they are) where anyone who doesn't comply with his fascistic policies will end up in jail. He talks buybacks (probably $100/weapon) but what they really are is forced confiscation. The Australian forced confiscation and whatever insanity being done in New Zealand will not work in America. We have over 300M people here, and it's estimated 100M are in possession of 3-400M weapons and billions of rounds of ammunition. There is no way this clown is going to disarm that many people.
Who made this man arbiter of what people can and cannot own? Armalite Rifles are the most widely used rifles in the US. There are millions of them in the hands of law-abiding gun owners. He and the gun grabbers want to take them off the streets over claims they're high-powered and most deadly but there are other weapons that are far more deadly, which goes to show his lack of understanding the types of weapons in circulation. What happens when all the AR's are off the streets and then the next thing used prevalently are larger caliber semi-autos? He'll call for those to be banned too, because in reality "Mr We Got Nukes" wants ALL semi-autos out of Americans hands.
Swalwell doesn't even have his facts straight on the matter. AR's are rarely used in most shootings. Those he cites and few others are about it (NO, those heinous events are not being trivialized, but people should know those types of shootings ARE not happening on a daily occurrence). Most gun crimes are committed with semi-auto handguns, frankly it was surprising to see Jake Tapper correct him on this.
We already have background checks, he is conflating buying from a gun store/ gun show dealer with buying from a private party (friend/neighbor/family member). Swalwell is being deceptive here, clearly pushing Moms Demand, Brady Campaign propaganda.
Also what's he going to do about everyone who has access to milling machines, drills and routers? Is he going to have his storm troopers inspecting unannounced to see who is and isn't manufacturing their own weapons??

First off Armalite rifles are not these alleged "assault weapons" gun grabbers keep labeling them. Frankly the term was made up to demonize the weapons and anyone using them, to increase shock value like Hogg does here when he calls them military weapons. They are in fact sporting rifles the military's M4 is based on but equipped with selective fire; it can fire in semi-automatic (1 bullet fired per 1 trigger pull) and full automatic (multiple bullets fired with 1 trigger pull). Civilians DO NOT have easy access to said types of weapons. In order to get an selective fire weapon one not only needs a basic DOJ background check conducted but they will also go through an ATF background check, pay a tax and be prepared to spend at a minimum $20,000 for a weapon with full auto capability. You CANNOT go to the corner gun shop and buy one of these weapons, anyone saying otherwise is LYING.

Georgia Democrat Gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams dodged a direct question on her gun control position where she cosponsored a bill that would have led to gun confiscation. Progressives like Abrams want weapon confiscations they just don't have the spine to outright say it.
As demonstrated here, Abrams repeatedly went back to general talking point word mash on the need for "common-sense gun safety legislation". What does that even mean after the thousands of laws already on the books at the federal and state level? Democrats for the most part have gotten what they want on gun control, but they continue to chip away on the Second Amendment blatantly violating its Do Not Touch clause "shall not be infringed". Common sense gun safety means take them all away from the people.
According to Abrams semiautomatic weapons should be classified and treated differently, and ArmaLite rifles (AR-15's) have no place in the hands of citizens. You see it's not just ArmaLite rifles dems want to get out of the hands of commoners, they want all weapons including semi-auto handguns.
For those who are new to STR, let me explain what Abrams said, as I was once in sales and speak bullshit: I am a gun owner running for governor, because I'm an elitist it's okay for me to have any gun of my choice but you the commoner cannot be trusted. You should not have access to semiautomatic weapons, they should be highly restricted and only those of us elites should decide who can or cannot own a weapon.
AR-15's are scary black looking weapons that resemble those used by the military, you should not have access to them. All semi autos are bad you should only have access to muskets because that's what was around when the Second Amendment, which I and my party despise, was written.
