There are people who make a living on the net relying on social media (Twitter, Facebook, Shopify, Instagram etc) to promote and sell whatever their product is. By censoring if not deplatforming these owners, or even their customers, these tech oligarchs are taking money away from people, whether you agree or not.
Couple that with the impact of the “pandemic” that has been completely weaponized against everyone (producers to consumers) people's source of income becomes even tighter, or non-existent, creating levels of tension and frustration like never before. For example a bar owner who uses social media to publicize their business has been shut down, and they now use those same social media platforms to voice their anger and frustration. Bar owner says something that violates the terms of service or community standards of whatever platform and gets thrown off or similar happens to the people they're speaking out to. What do you think is going to happen when you not only silence people but also, even worse, take away their source of income?

It's absolutely clear these companies are engaged in activity to influence voters away from supporting Pres Trump and the GOP. They're engaged in election interference as well as violating campaign finance law via donations in kind through the suppression of stories and suspension of accounts.
They need to have their Section 230 protections pulled, since regulation will open pandoras box to go after everyone who "publishes" online.
That being said these CEO's are not to blame! You can blame the wealthy Right for never investing/ donating a cent to any competing platform. The Founders were smart when they wrote the First Amendment, but they never imagined an entity/ corporations with massive power and reach silencing dissent, bypassing the Constitution. This site is all about upholding the Constitution and small govt, but what are we to do when a company as big and powerful as Google/YouTube controls the flow of information? These companies have had countless warnings via high profile individuals speaking publicly over how they're being targeted and censored. Big tech is choosing to ignore the warnings, to stay the course that will lead to govt regulation. What they're doing now is far more influential on American politics and social issues than tv and radio ever were, which landed both industries under federal regs. Conservatives are in favor of small govt, Big Brother keeping out of our lives, all these companies have to do is stop and be fair. The Left is obviously denying anyone on the Right is under any kind of attack or censorship from Big Tech (Facebook, Google and Twitter) but those of us who have been feeling and seeing it know better. FB has repeatedly suspended yours truly for no reason whatsoever. (Feel free to go through my timeline and you'll see posts over the last few years citing the censorship with screenshot examples) Posts to groups have been cited as spam only to have FB concede they are notafter challenges were issued. Yet even after FB admitted I did no wrong they left me on suspension!
Twitter is not issuing STR suspensions, but is heavily shadow banning @BMartin1776. I have posted over 96K tweets, and there have been some doozies from time to time that should've gone viral but were DOA. How do I know this? Because similar tweets from others did go viral! You would think someone who posts 96K tweets, providing content not just blather or trolling, would have a large following, nope. The account was opened in 2009 and to this day has only 2600+ followers, AFTER getting a boost from a celebrity and a friend, that's it. They too are shadow banned because between the two of them there;s just shy of a million followers, where a fraction answered their call to help me out.
As for Google, try finding a Op posted by STR in a search. You won't find STR posts 10-20 pages back either! On Google+ STR posts about Mark Levin were being removed, with no warning or reason!

Television and radio companies are all privately owned companies like Big Tech, BUT they are now under federal oversight because they became far too influential in American politics and social issues. Warrens draft list 20 ways govt can step in to address problems Big Tech is facing from Russians and fake news sites, "ranging from putting a price on individual users' data to funding media literacy programs."
