  Ted Cruz was given an opportunity to explain his attack on Americans, who were attending the J6 protest, for calling them terrorists during a Senate hearing on Tucker Carlson's show. The TX Senator claimed what he did was "sloppy and dumb," and that he was talking about those who engaged in violence and destroyed property, but Carlson wasn't having any of it and neither were viewers.
Cruz is not dumb, he's quite intelligent, if this explanation... excuse he attempted to give Carlson was true then why didn't he immediately correct or clarify himself during the hearing!? Exactly!

The guy F'd up badly and tonights performance only made things worse. Cruz is trying to dig himself out of quicksand.
The Learning lesson here is we need to stop putting certain politicians on a pedestal hold them accountable because the truth is the majority of them are an incredible disappointment. Also should point out many came to power from the TEA Party movement, and they all have gone past their shelf life as Dana Loesch pointed out on her show. These people in DC need to understand clearly they are our SERVANTS, they do what we want. The majority are not, they're just talking a lot never delivering on ANYTHING they thunder away on.

Sen Blackburn schooled Dorsey for claiming they never censored Pres Trump and give free reign to Irans dictator.. Sen Lee had his moment calling the FASCISTS out to name any high profile liberal they've censored where none could name any off the top of their head.. Sen Cruz Grilled Google Exec Over Political Censorship

Sen Ted Cruz did a good job grilling the Dir of Google User Experience, Maggie Stanphill (their Digital Well Being Expert), over a report from Project Veritas exposing what can only be considered as plans for election meddling. Google is abusing Sec 230 of the Communication Decency Act getting tax breaks for being a platform when they are in fact acting like a publisher by censoring conservative content.

Just a note for those who don't know the video Project Veritas posted about censorship at Google was in fact CENSORED by YouTube over third party claims!! In their quest to silence PV, Google just proved what we all have known all along!

Stanphill was the equivalent of a sheep sent out to the wolves. She claimed she keeps politics out of the work place, but Cruz pointed out the company is quite anti-Trump, citing Google employees donated $1.35M to Hillary's campaign, and $0.00 to Donald Trump!

Big question raised from todays hearing is WHY Google sent this "Digital Well Being Expert" ("feelings" expert if you ask me) to testify in front of Congress over their political censorship? From her testimony, Stanphill has no clue what is going on. She has nothing to do with the search algorithms that censor out conservative content, nor plays a role in the decision to shut down conservatives content on YouTube.

What you have here is a massive entity flipping off the govt while they are engaged in clear actions to MEDDLE with a presidential election. In other words Google is DOING what the Left claimed (with NO PROOF) the Russians did in 2016.

Oct 2017 to Nov 2017 yours truly was suspended one week after another with absolutely no explanation from the company. Warnings were received over spam, yet when challenged FB reversed its position and ADMITTED there was no violation, yet the suspensions remained in force!

FB has grown into a massive sourced of news and information in the same way television and radio did when they became influential to American politics and social issues. The company is playing God with information dictating what is and isn't important for the user to see. Keep in mind every single user chooses of their own will to follow X number pages, but the company feels they must control the flow of information so much so users NEVER see posts in their news feed nor get notifications when the right leaning pages they follow posts content!

Liberal pages of course have no problem and have experienced growth. Cruz knows all of this, and trapped Zuckerberg into one lie after another IMO. BUT the CEO was not under oath, so the lies he told today don't matter.

Idiots sums it up defining the left at this point. No one is sure where Ted Cruz will fit in with this administration. Many are hoping to see him appointed Attorney General or maybe even SCOTUS. While that sounds great, WHO would replace him, Mike Lee, Trey Gowdy or some other names from Congress (and Govs) being thrown around? THINK America, if we lose some of these rebels in Congress who will take their place to keep the progressives (R's & D's) in check!?

Cruz's Announcement to Endorse Trump Should Not Be a Surprise

Let's rewind back to July when Ted Cruz gave his speech at the RNC Convention...

"….vote your conscience, vote for candidates up and down the ticket who you trust to defend our freedom, and to be faithful to the Constitution.”

Got it? As I argued this non-endorsement speech was in fact an endorsement unless YOU, the hardcore Trump supporters, who were enraged with Cruz, were in fact admitting Trump WOULD NOT defend freedom or be faithful to the Constitution!

It was abundantly clear then as it is now Cruz would go with Trump because Hillary, like obama (and ALL progressives), HATES freedom and the Constitution. Cruz's speech in July made a solid argument against Hillary so what other option as a politician and runner up for the GOP nomination would Ted have? Gary Johnson, a democrat in libertarian clothing! C'mon America I know the majority of you are asleep but you're not in a coma.

Now Cruz followers do have a right to be angry because left out of this announcement Ted never explained what his pivot point was. Reason being Trump took some very nasty personal shots at his wife and father. Did the two meet or have a phone conversation where an apology was given? We don't know and probably never will. Regardless if you're surprised by this announcement you have reading/ listening comprehension issues.
Cruz made it clear in July what he would do.

This election is unlike any other in our nation’s history. Like many other voters, I have struggled to determine the right course of action in this general election.

In Cleveland, I urged voters, “please, don’t stay home in November. Stand, and speak, and vote your conscience, vote for candidates up and down the ticket whom you trust to defend our freedom and to be faithful to the Constitution.”

After many months of careful consideration, of prayer and searching my own conscience, I have decided that on Election Day, I will vote for the Republican nominee, Donald Trump.

For anyone concerned about the Bill of Rights — free speech, religious liberty, the Second Amendment — the Court hangs in the balance. I have spent my professional career fighting before the Court to defend the Constitution. We are only one justice away from losing our most basic rights, and the next president will appoint as many as four new justices. We know, without a doubt, that every Clinton appointee would be a left-wing ideologue. Trump, in contrast, has promised to appoint justices “in the mold of Scalia.”

For some time, I have been seeking greater specificity on this issue, and today the Trump campaign provided that, releasing a very strong list of potential Supreme Court nominees — including Sen. Mike Lee, who would make an extraordinary justice — and making an explicit commitment to nominate only from that list. Senate Leadership Leaves Provision Out of Spending Bill to Stop Handover of Internet

Progressive republicans are just as bad as their democrat counterparts. Ted Cruz has been spearheading an effort to stop obama from handing control of the internet(ICANN) over to a global body that will more or less be ran by Russia, China and Iran. But once again Senate republican leadership [McConnell & co] have bowed down to emperor obama by leaving Cruz's provision out of the spending bill to keep the govt open until Dec.

Once we lose this control of the internet we will not be able to get it back, free speech as we know it on the net will be a thing of the past [NO I don't care that the internet is like the wild west. It is the last example of true freedom for ALL to experience]. Even Donald Trump is supporting Cruz on this effort but with only a few days left to stop this transfer of power this move by the Senate is a crushing blow.

Cruz internet crusade left out of Senate spending bill

WASHINGTON — Senate Republican leaders did not include a provision pushed by Sen. Ted Cruz to prevent a planned transfer of internet domain control in the text of a stopgap spending bill unveiled Thursday to keep the government funded until December.

Cruz said in a written statement that he was “profoundly disappointed” in the result of the Senate negotiations, accusing his colleagues of giving in to “White House demands to hand over increased control of the Internet to authoritarian regimes like China, Russia, and Iran.”

“This is one more example why the American people are so fed up with Washington, because they expect all of us — Republicans, Democrats, and independents alike — to protect free speech online,” he said.

Cruz aides would not reveal what the senator might do next. Asked earlier this week if he would be willing to push the issue to the brink and risk another government shutdown, Cruz repeatedly declined to answer.

The Texas Republican has led several GOP lawmakers this month in waging an 11th-hour battle to stop the U.S. government from giving up oversight of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, a California-based nonprofit commonly known as ICANN, to private global stakeholders.
