Fast and Furious Weapon Used in Garland, TX Attack

Fast and Furious is the gift that just keeps giving! In his quest to undermine the Second Amendment that completely backfired not only has obama admin armed dangerous gangs and drug cartels but it is now reported terrorists have also gotten their hands on those guns.

If the terrorist who was seeking to kill attendees and participants of the Draw Muhammad cartoon contest how many more terrorist got their hands on those guns.

Five years before he was shot to death in the failed terrorist attack in Garland, Texas, Nadir Soofi walked into a suburban Phoenix gun shop to buy a 9-millimeter pistol.

At the time, Lone Wolf Trading Co. was known among gun smugglers for selling illegal firearms. And with Soofi's history of misdemeanor drug and assault charges, there was a chance his purchase might raise red flags in the federal screening process.

Inside the store, he fudged some facts on the form required of would-be gun buyers.

What Soofi could not have known was that Lone Wolf was at the center of a federal sting operation known as Fast and Furious, targeting Mexican drug lords and traffickers. The idea of the secret program was to allow Lone Wolf to sell illegal weapons to criminals and straw purchasers, and track the guns back to large smuggling networks and drug cartels.

Instead, federal agents lost track of the weapons and the operation became a fiasco, particularly after several of the missing guns were linked to shootings in Mexico and the 2010 killing of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry in Arizona.

Soofi's attempt to buy a gun caught the attention of authorities, who slapped a seven-day hold on the transaction, according to his Feb. 24, 2010, firearms transaction record, which was reviewed by the Los Angeles Times. Then, for reasons that remain unclear, the hold was lifted after 24 hours, and Soofi got the 9-millimeter.

FBI Knew Terrorists Were Targeting Draw Muhammad Contest

What is the point in all this surveillance and govt intrusion in our lives, all in the name of national security, if the feds won't act to stop an attack or let an event know they are going to be attacked? It's said that the terrorists stopped by the Garland TX officer unloaded a lot of rounds at the officer. Thanks to his good training he was able to put them both down, but what if they got through and were able to unload all those round slaughtering people attending the contest?! What would the feds excuse be today with this news surfacing?

America we have serious problems with this govt who will quickly jump to condemn and prosecute citizens for doing far less! Lets not forget this is the same govt who blamed a video no one saw for Benghazi where the filmmaker was thrown in jail. Nothing is ever going to change until all seated leadership is removed. Progressives left and right are showing their true colors of how much they loathe the First Amendment and Constitution over this Draw Muhammad event. It doesn't matter if you like the cartoons or not the issue is about free speech and our freedoms under direct attack. The cartoons are not directly beneficial to us but the ability to produce them and hold an event as Pamela Geller did is a right at the very core of our Republic many are clearly trying to silence.

Richard Fowler's idea of using common sense is to silence ones free speech. There is no comparison between yelling fire in a theater and drawing a picture of Muhammad. This man is purely insane to make such a comparison. By his logic we shouldn't say anything controversial because it might make someone mad and they might go on a killing spree so STFU!? Wrong we should be able to say whatever we want without the fear of someone killing us just as we tolerate that garbage that comes out of their mouths.


The contest was not done to inflame radical islamists. There are more offensive things that can be done to offend and inflame islamists if one wanted to. Material that frankly is extremely vile and graphic!

The end goal of progressives and racial islam is to silence dissent. The threat of violence is a direct attack on free speech and these mindless fools cannot see that. Instead they treat it as "you're just trying to insult and offend them". No!

The majority of people who are condemning the mocking of islam do it out of fear, but also because they hate free speech and the Constitution. Take a good look at the people coming out against this and you will see they have a track record of taking a position against the Constitution. Whether it is against the Second Amendment or trying to justify the violation of our privacy rights etc.

To those annoyed with this story you need to see the bigger picture. ISIS and islamic radicals are not stupid, the war they have waged is not only on us physically but fundamentally on the very principles that make the US what it is.They would love to see free speech squashed in America, just as they found joy with our privacy rights violated. When you have to get on a plane and practically strip naked that kids is a win in their book! If we allow free speech to be silenced you can bet they will chalk that up as another win!

ANYONE who criticizes and condemns what Geller is doing/has done is appeasing radical islam. They are also willfully prepared to surrender our freedoms to be politically correct hidden under clever rhetoric as Fox Host Martha MacCallum demonstrates.

It is incredibly disturbing how many people within the media (left & right) are attacking Geller for simply invoking her First Amendment rights. Where are these critics when conservatives are attacked by pro-islamists who call them every name in the book, trash America, Christianity & Judaism, our Constitution etc? Where was Martha MacCallum when the islamists are demanding Sharia Law be instituted and accepted in America? Where was MacCallum when Jesus was defamed in the name of "art" or the mocking of Mormons on Broadway? Nowhere.

When islam is criticized, mocked and/or under attack this Fox host like all the progressives (many in the closet) like her come out of the woodwork to condemn it's critics. They do this out of fear and that boys and girls is a win for radical islam. Geller is NOT taunting radical islam no more than when they or other groups trash Christianity and Judaism. This is Gellers way of throwing it back at them having a set unlike the majority of male leaders we have in the US! This is America, freedom of speech was not created to protect language everyone is already in agreement with. The First Amendment was created to protect those who would use the most offensive inflamed language. If we can't do that then it's over! Pam Gellers "Draw Muhammad" event was a private event and they had as much right to organize as those who gather condemning Americans who are anti-islam. Participants in the contest and attendees were not asking to be attacked and anyone (crap media) even suggesting such a thing have proven they are anti-American. You have a right to say whatever is on your mind freely without being threatened in the US. This attack and those more or less siding with the attackers are enemies to the Republic.

That is the real story with this terror attack that was thwarted by Garland TX police.
