Never thought this series title would be used during the Trump admin but here we are. Every week there is one story after another of US citizens rights and civil liberties being violated in the name of public safety.

Conservatives, Libertarians and freedom loving people always believed authoritarianism would be delivered by some tyrant or tyrants in power who would fearlessly campaign against the Constitution, calling for its end, as if some crazy Hollywood dystopian story is being played out. But all it took was a bug, one more contagious than the common flu, BUT NOT AS LETHAL, to send this country into total economic and social chaos.

Not sure what's more concerning: the people who are willfully going along with the outright violation of their/our rights or those who are making these new laws/rules and enforcing them?!

Boston suburb sets up one-way sidewalks - police will hand out $100 fines to anyone who walks in the wrong direction

• Police in the suburb of Beverly noticed locals brushing up against one another as they walked in opposite directions along busy Lothrop Street
• Fearing that the residents might inadvertently be spreading COVID-19, authorities implemented one-way sidewalks
• Residents must now walk against traffic so they are never coming into contact with someone who is walking in the opposite direction
• Failure to comply will result in a $100 fine, but police says residents have been receptive to the idea

That 'Woman Governor' Just Banned Michigan Residents From Visiting Family and Neighbors
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued an executive order that severely restricts travel between residences. She also basically forbade residents from travel to their own summer home. The new rules are the latest updates to the "stay-at-home" order and are among the most restrictive in the nation.

Apple Inc. and Google unveiled a rare partnership to add technology to their smartphone platforms that will alert users if they have come into contact with a person with Covid-19. People must opt in to the system, but it has the potential to monitor about a third of the world’s population.

There are plenty more stories out there, we haven't even touched on the fight over gun stores being essential or not, but the real question you need to answer is how much is enough?

Those of you in law enforcement, what the hell are you doing!? The ones enforcing these insane laws/rules are the same ones this site has been concerned about over gun confiscations. The number of LE officials ready to jump enforcing these regs should concern people because it's safe to assume they're the same ones ready to go door-to-door confiscating weapons if the order is given.

Yes, we all have to be careful but also put things in perspective. This virus IS NOT the killer the media has made it out to be. This meme says it all about what's being pulled on the entire world at this point...



More people are dying from the flu, heart disease, various other illnesses and suicide than coronavirus.



How is it hospitals and our infrastructure hasn't been brought to the brink where just last year (2018-19 season) "an estimated 35.5 million people getting sick with influenza, 16.5 million people going to a health care provider for their illness, 490,600 hospitalizations, and 34,200 deaths from" the flu yet they're brought to their knees now!?

None of this makes sense especially the blatant infringement on our rights and civil liberties. Truth of the matter is the best way to stop a bug is for everyone to be a little more courteous outside their home. When you cough, sneeze, touch your nose or mouth to WASH YOUR HANDS before touching anything. And when you do cough and sneeze to thoroughly cover up, not with your hands but at the least into your elbow, or better yet pull up shirt collar, or pull your coat from one side over your face if you dont have a tissue, paper towel, a handkerchief or something to use. DO NOT touch your face (eyes, nose, mouth) after touching any surface outside the home. This is something you should be practicing in the first place. If you don't know to wash your hands before touching your food or whatever then you have much bigger problems.. or are you the type to buy something where you pull out the dirty cash or swipe your card, touch the keypad to complete the sale and then touch your face or whatever afterwards!?

How many people out there want leaders and lawmakers to stay out of our lives but have turned an about face because those who willfully comply with these new rules don't practice basic hygiene!? Is this it, is this how we lose our Republic over citizen's stupidity using basic hygiene?

Grow up, mind your surroundings, be more courteous, cover up when you cough/sneeze and WASH YOUR DAMN HANDS before touching anything. Or you can surrender your rights via Medical Martial Law.

Obama Fmr DHS Chief: Confederate Monuments Are Threat to "Homeland Security"

Obama's former DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson issued a dire warning to the nation: Confederate statues and monuments are a threat to "public safety and homeland security"!

"I salute those in cities and states who are taking down a lot of these monuments for reasons of public safety and security. It's not a matter of political correctness, that's a matter of public safety and homeland security"

That's right America, these things that just sit there day after day, year after year, being pelted by rain, snow, wind, dust, bird sh*t are a threat to your safety and security. Don't worry about ISIS or MS-19 spreading throughout the country like a virus during this clowns tenure as DHS Chief. These statues and monuments that have been around longer than most of us are the threat to mankind!

Here's the sad reality, if the sight of statues, monuments and plaques trigger you into violent rage, or uncontrollable crying seek profession psychiatric help.

Sticks and stones may break your bones, but names will never hurt.

Understand these things, these national security threats are a piece of our history, good and bad. We learn our mistakes and triumphs to be better people. Again, most have been standing longer than any of us have been around. They weren't a problem when they were erected. They weren't a problem when the nation elected the first black man to the presidency, twice. The only reason why they're a problem now is because of political correctness and some nasty people who hold onto the dark side of them support the President who has condemned and denounced them repeatedly. GROW UP!

Terror Threat is So High WH Calling For "Wide Distribution of Tourniquets"

When you have the White House calling for "wide distribution of tourniquets" in public locations (schools, stadiums, theaters etc) you know something big is brewing.

If it weren't for stories like this from the WSJ (that we could read between the lines) people would have no clue how bad of a threat the US is under by terrorists. The govt and media continue to downplay threats made by ISIS and jihadists as they push this lie "no credible specific threat has been made" yet we have countless vids (ones that are still around) from terrorists where they ID their targets and spell out the various tactics or weapons they'll use. ISIS said they would strike Paris and they did. IS promises to strike Rome and the US, should said threats be dismissed since specific targets, day and time aren't spelled out? Got news for you America they won't and never will, again JUST LIKE PARIS! IS is telling us what their plans are, it is so irresponsible and dangerous for these threats to be dismissed by the media and govt officials.

Stay alert, be prepared and have a plan because the police and govt aren't going to be there when we get hit.



Tourniquet Use Urged in Public-Safety Push

WASHINGTON—The White House is pushing to make tourniquets as commonplace as heart defibrillators in U.S. schools, stadiums, airports, malls and other public places, to reduce fatalities from mass shootings and terror bombings.

Applying lessons learned on the battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq, the Obama administration wants ordinary citizens armed with both the will and ability to grab a tourniquet and stop the wounded from bleeding to death before trained medics arrive.

Last month, Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina placed more than 150 bleeding-control kits, including tourniquets, around the terminals, baggage claim and checkpoints. Schools in Wisconsin, Illinois and New York have put tourniquets in classrooms and school offices, and have taught teachers and nurses how to apply them.

The White House last month convened emergency managers, medical groups, health-care companies and school administrators to urge civilians with little or no medical training to intervene to stem hemorrhaging.

“Someone needs to ask the question: ‘With all of the shootings going on, why doesn’t every school in the country have hemorrhage-control devices?’ ” asked former Army surgeon John Holcomb, professor of surgery at the University of Texas in Houston and a national advocate for widespread tourniquet use.

Last week’s attack in Paris, which killed 129 people, is precisely the kind of tragedy advocates believe calls for the ready availability of tourniquets, for use when manual pressure isn’t enough to stanch bleeding. “It’s not a question of if it will happen on our own soil; it’s a matter of when,” Dr. Holcomb said...more ncies
