Told Ya So! In Wake of Left's Push to Raise Min Wage Wendy's Moves to Automation

As a result of minimum wage hikes and rising costs Wendy's Restaurants announced they will begin offering self-service kiosks to all 6000 of their restaurants!

Now someone way back in May of 2015 warned this was coming when all the $15 /hour protests were amping up, who was it that said this was coming?...... Oh yea ME! The tough love delivered then still stands now, and for the record that was a stand alone piece on something I have been warning about for years in other economic related posts. There is only so far you can push a company until they fight back replacing people with machines. Granted Wendy's is offering this option to any store that wants it you can be sure few years down the road it will be standard in all restaurants. That's how these things start out, small, test marketing and when the bean counters have actual facts and figures they will make it policy.. BANK ON IT!

So all you $15er's keep protesting for higher wages for low-skilled work and watch what happens. You are not only screwing yourselves out of work but other people too who are unemployed that would welcome whatever current minimum wage is!


Wendy’s Serves Up Big Kiosk Expansion As Wage Hikes Hit Fast Food

Wendy’s (WEN) said that self-service ordering kiosks will be made available across its 6,000-plus restaurants in the second half of the year as minimum wage hikes and a tight labor market push up wages.

It will be up to franchisees whether to deploy the labor-saving technology, but Wendy’s President Todd Penegor did note that some franchise locations have been raising prices to offset wage hikes.

McDonald’s (MCD) has been testing self-service kiosks. But Wendy’s, which has been vocal about embracing labor-saving technology, is launching the biggest potential expansion.

Wendy’s Penegor said company-operated stores, only about 10% of the total, are seeing wage inflation of 5% to 6%, driven both by the minimum wage and some by the need to offer a competitive wage “to access good labor.”..read more

Fight for $15 Leader in Denial Wage Hike Will Not Result Higher Prices and Job Losses

This fight for $15 leader, Naquasia LeGrand, is in complete denial, she has no clue how business economics works. She believes that a rapid wage hike now is a good thing because "people are losing their jobs as we speak". Well as I warned in 2015 there are 6 options business owners have but in the end it will result in more job losses.

When you increase wages you are in fact increasing operating expenses. This means costs go up. Your costs go up then business owners must raise prices to keep the doors open. While this sounds great many are already pushing the limit with price hikes risking the loss of customers/ clientele to larger businesses who have greater buying power which allows them lower costs. In the short run, small business owners will be the first victims of this social justice warrior act of insanity for income equality. Small business owners will first cut whatever expenses they can, next cur worker hours, followed by price hike and then a staff reduction. High prices poor service (will happen from lack of needed workers) will eventually lead to said businesses closing their doors because this push for $15 an hour doesn't work.

Larger businesses will be able to weather this storm longer as they can spread out the costs but they too will eventually make all the same cuts, where they haven't already, and again eventually cut staff. You see one of things no one is talking about is this won't be the last call for a wage increase. Once everyone is at $15 then there will be calls for $17... $20!

You 15'ers have no idea what you have done. Flipping burgers, stocking shelves, running a cash register is low-skilled work, YOU DO NOT DESERVE to make more money than people who have more skills and education! Americans DO NOT care about how you don't make a living wage to support your family of 5 on a part time job because that job was never meant to support a family of 4 or 5! That job was meant to offer entry level experience and training to young people, and to provide supplemental income for those with full time jobs. You have more or less signed your own job death warrant where you will be fired. Workers will be saddled with twice as many job duties to compensate, someday they'll be replaced with machines or again as I warned the business will close up.

Enjoy you wage hike over the next few years and bank every penny because you will need it when the job is no longer there.

Hillary Clinton: Corporations and Businesses Don't Create Jobs

Just don’t know what to say about these radical elitists, prepare for blood to shoot out of your eyeballs! Clinton and all progressives truly believe money grows on trees to think and talk like this, because America “you didn’t build that”!

Progressive elitists like Clinton want you dependent on them for everything that their word is gospel; this is just another example institutionalized evil. Free market capitalism, innovation, systems in place that made America a once great industrial nation etc in their world is a failure because they do not have control. They want people conditioned to hate corporations and businesses and seek out govt for all their needs. So Hillary will go publicly and make an outlandish comment like this when trying to argue for minimum wage hike. Or take it a step further blasting trickle down economics which did work under Reagan. (Take note she didnt have the guts to slam Reagan by name but still went after his policy). Oh and btw she and her husband got pretty rich from businesses and corporations!

Those of you out there with jobs, did you get hired by someone who is homeless and unemployed?

Corporations and small businesses create the services and products that people want. That want/ demand requires individuals to service and produce thus create JOBS be it on an assembly line or someone doing something! If you force a hike in the minimum wage companies will have some choices to make to compensate for the higher operating cost:

1 Make more cuts to operating costs. Not much left for many to cut since theyre already operating lean.
2 Cut worker hours
3 Reduce pay for everyone (this is the longterm progressive goal = income equality)
4 Hiring freeze and increase workload
5 Fire staff and increase workload
6 *Worst case scenario* if unions step in close up shop!

Clinton and the rest of the DC destroyers have never held real jobs or ran a business having to meet payroll let alone taken a basic economic course. This callous attitude is why our economy is on the brink.

Don't you find it sad that these people deemed scholars who provide higher education to millions of Americans have to resort to pulling the race card! Race has nothing to do with failed/ unsustainable programs and policies. When exactly did those who teach political science and public affairs, like Columbia University's Dorian Warren, become experts in economics and finance? It's no surprise MSDNC would have someone on with no knowledge on how things really work and get paid for instead maintaining the regimes racist agenda. It works unfortunately all these dopes have to do is even suggest racism, like in this clip, and it will have the impact they need to sway the uninformed class.
