The business impact of the old fool's proposal to raise taxes has been covered on this site over the calls for increasing the minimum wage to $15/hr. You can more or less use the same arguments in this op from 2015 for increasing wages today on increasing taxes. You see how that works? Rich people own businesses, create jobs and pay taxes, if you F with them jobs go away, prices go up. The old fool's plan to raise taxes on the rich will really be an increase in taxes on the American people!

Michael Moore appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers pushing his communist propaganda. When asked if he were running for president what would be some of the items in his platform, as you would expect, the first thing he would do is outlaw immoral billionaires. Meyers then brings up Sandy Cortez and her 70% tax the rich dream Moore of course agrees with. Sandy Cortez says her plan to tax the rich (those who make $10M +) is a plan dems should embrace. What she is really doing is helping dig the hole deeper for dems, so much so word has it senior leaders want to shut her up. Socialist Professor Wants the Rich to Pay 80% Tax Should PAY UP or SHUT UP!

Appearing on Tucker Carlson Tonight, Prof Caroline Heldman had the audacity to suggest the rich people, who earn over 470k per year ("top 1%"), should pay 80% tax rate, to share the wealth. When Carlson challenged her to simple pay more like the slick progressive she is, Heldman said her family engages in philanthropy... that's great but completely irrelevant to the issue of class warfare and taxing the rich.

Heldman then played stupid, that she didn't know how to pay more to the govt! This woman with a PhD, so she's not stupid, who has taken the time to research the issue of taxing more wants viewers to believe when doing her "research" to come to this decision she didn't come upon the info on how to pay more?! This woman really wants the American people to believe she doesn't know she can just write a check anytime she wants to the IRS!

First off it's about time to call all of your bluffs, so if you want to run your mouth, open your tax records to the public so we can see what you are really doing come tax time. Lets see how many of you super rich will share that info, since you have no problem preaching to the public to pay more. Lets first see how much you actually pay!

...There is NO GUN to anyone's head stopping you from paying more in taxes. April 15th is more or less your obligation to pay the minimum amount. The government/ IRS has no problem receiving more money from taxpayers (individuals or corporations). You don’t have take all the deductions you take when you file! You can just leave all of those deduction boxes blank, fill in the earned income etc, calculate your rate and PAY... the full amount. As a matter of fact you don’t have to wait till April 15th either, you can just opt to pay more ANYTIME!

Raising taxes on the rich (job creators) is the quintessential talking point of liberals. Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton have been adamant about raising taxes on the rich, making the 1% pay their fair share regardless of the repercussions. When Today Show's Savannah Guthrie asked Donald Trump (self-avowed Conservative) if taxes should be raised on the rich he joined Clinton and Sanders saying

Trump supporters help those of us not in your camp out. When did raising taxes on the rich become a conservative value? You said he is the one, that he is a true conservative. Please explain the economics behind taxing the rich who are already getting hammered as it is? Taxes is one of the key issues that has hurt the US economy. Obama plans to announce tax hikes for the rich to pay for free stuff he keeps offering to the uninformed class to secure his legacy and maintain a lie that dems work for the people. His majesty since day one has been attacking the rich seeking to redistribute wealth giving off the appearance he is Robin Hood. That couldn't be any further from the truth, and the truth is Robin Hood didn't steal from the rich to give to the poor, he stole from the govt who was stealing from the poor!
