Pelosi Supports Border Fence, NOT a Wall Because It's "Immoral, Ineffective, Expensive"

Nancy Pelosi held a press conference and was asked about adding money to the continuing resolution bill (CR) for border security, which included funds to build the wall. She of course supports a border FENCE not a wall because "a wall is immoral, ineffective, expensive". And let's be honest a fence is much easier for illegal aliens to climb over, squeeze through or go under than a 30ft wall!

Pelosi has in fact made it clear border security is the last thing on democrats to do list. We have a border fence right now that is proven to be completely ineffective, literally right now as illegal border crossings have risen due to the "migrant" caravan.

By the way if you paid close attention, as the future Speaker of the House talked about the responsibility to protect the borders, you just got an education in geography. According to the woman who will most likely be third in line for the presidency the US has "3 coasts - North, South and West"!

Dem Rep Cuellar Warns Another Illegal Alien Surge is Coming

Thousands continue to cross the border unreported by the crap media. The volume of illegals coming into the US has not dropped and as Rep Cuellar warns it is going to pick up next year when warm weather returns. Emperor obama's executive amnesty will be the driving force behind the wave regardless of the guidelines set forth to qualify. New illegals will go to the same sources current illegals are using for fake ID's, false identities, forged documents etc to acquire any and all paperwork they need to "prove" they have been in the US for 5 years or greater so they can stay. These people by their very nature of coming into the US illegally are dishonest. It is only logical to assume the waves of illegals coming into the US will rise now that obama has defied the American people with his lawless action.

What did Congress do to stop this? Nothing, they passed CRomnibus which will fund obamnesty regardless of DHS funding ending in Feb 2015. There are not enough members in both Houses (2/3's needed) to push a halt to funding his majesty's amnesty program. Anything that gets to his desk which interferes with his agenda will be vetoed. The only way to override a veto is with 2/3's super majority vote which doesn't exist in Congress. Sure republicans will have control but the majority are progressives who want amnesty as much as the dems.

If you thought the 2014 border rush was bad, 2015 could very well dwarf it thats to obama.

Well 24 republicans joined 32 democrats for a 56-40 vote to push through $1.1 trillion CRomnibus bill that will fund the govt until Sept 2015. Curious, exeactly where is all this money coming from seeing that the US is broke? The National Debt just broke $18 trillion, we produce nothing, are no longer the manufacturing hub of the world. A trillion dollars is a lot of money....

... remember when these idgets used to battle over a couple billion?! To make matters worse, if it hasn't sunk in yet, this is only to get us to September! What exactly are we getting for $1.1 trillion? Higher taxes, increased healthcare costs, increase in cost of living & inflation?

Along with keeping the govt open (it would regardless) this means obamacare and obama's illegal amnesty is going to be funded. You would think after the Nov elections all Congressmen/women would get the hint we have had it with the games, but they don't care. After all, they are going to get an influx of 5 million+ new voters in a few years! Yes, yes illegals won't have a right to vote now but give it some time for progressives to make the argument about how "unfair" it is that illegals only have a few rights. Don't you worry obama and the progressives (R's & D's) will find a way to make it happen.

These 24 republicans need to be shamed when they return to their districts for Christmas break. If possible recall elections for those who didn't get kicked out in Nov need to initiated. Voters in CO proved recalls can be done, the question is do the people have the will?

Hope it's becoming clear to many that the democrats of today are more or less, by their words and actions, socialist if not closet communists. Republicans of today are democrats of yesterday. There is just a handful of rebels aka conservatives within the GOP looking out for us. We will have to wait and see how many of the new Senators just elected will join the rebels.

The Senate passed a $1.1 trillion spending bill late Saturday that funds the government through next September, averting a partial government shutdown and sending the measure to President Obama's desk.

The Senate voted 56-40 for the long-term funding bill, the main item left on Congress' year-end agenda. The measure provides money for nearly the entire government through the end of the current budget year Sept. 30. The sole exception is the Department of Homeland Security, which is funded only until Feb. 27.

Hours earlier, the Senate had approved a short-term bill funding the federal government through Wednesday night, easing concerns of a potential partial government shutdown. The stopgap bill, which passed by a voice vote, bought lawmakers more time to comb through the separate $1.1 trillion long-term funding bill.

The votes capped a day of intrigue in the upper chamber of Congress that included a failed, largely symbolic Republican challenge to the Obama administration's new immigration policy, while Democrats launched a drive to confirm two dozen of Obama's stalled nominees to the federal bench and administration posts before their majority expires at year's end.

Several Republicans blamed tea party-backed Texas Sen. Ted Cruz for giving the outgoing majority party an opportunity to seek approval for presidential appointees, including some that are long-stalled.

"I've seen this movie before, and I wouldn't pay money to see it again," said Sen. Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., recalling Cruz' leading role a year ago in events precipitating a 16-day partial government shutdown that briefly sent GOP poll ratings plummeting.

Asked if Cruz had created an opening for the Democrats, Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah said, "I wish you hadn't pointed that out," adding "You should have an end goal in sight if you're going to do these types of things and I don't see an end goal other than irritating a lot of people."...more

Last year Sen Warren and all the progressive destroyers demonized and attacked conservatives for doing exactly what they all are doing over CRomnibus. Cruz, Lee and the other rebels were terrorists, hostage takers etc trying to stop CR but now Warren, Pelosi, Waters etc are patriots for being opposed to the CR?! We are truly living in twisted times when up is down, light is dark and right is wrong.

House Passes $1.1 Trillion Bill to Avoid Govt Shutdown Funds Obamacare & Amnesty

Bipartisanship is alive and well in DC! Remember all those republicants saying they would do whatever it took to stop obamacare and obama's illegal amnesty? Well many of them just voted on a 1700 page bill they didn't read to fund obamacare & obamnesty and spend money this country doesn't have.

What are we getting for $1.1 trillion? People are still unemployed, millions are on food stamps and living in poverty! The DC destroyers have made massive cuts in the military downsizing to pre-WWII levels so they aren't dumping the money into defense!

The money is going to the two nightmares above along with pet projects that will enrich the elites and send billions in foreign aid... aid to nations who HATE this country!

Does anyone doubt one bit Boehner struck a deal with obama to do this now to lock in obamnesty? He could have passed a short-term funding bill to get us into next year where a dominant republican House & Senate could have passed funding bill that would have stripped funds away from obamacare and amnesty. Ladies and gentlemen John Boehner just exposed his loyalty is not to the people but to the obama/progressive agenda. Boehner MUST BE REMOVED as Speaker. It is on each and everyone of you to melt the Capitol phone lines between now and Christmas recess telling Representatives to choose a different Speaker. When they come home for Christmas break make their lives miserable. John Boehner is as much of a cancer to this country as obama, Pelosi, Reid and all the known progressives.
