Obama's new power grab on gun control has put light back on how bad obamacare is which will be used as a tool to disarm law-abiding Americans denying them of due process. Doctors are permitted under barackobamacare to ask patients whether they own guns, where they're stored etc. Veterans who are getting treatment for PTSD will be prime targets as well as others seeking mental health aid.
Declaring people mentally ill (seeking counseling for divorce, death of loved ones, PTSD etc) or putting us on watchlists is all that this govt will need to take ones Second Amendment rights away and it all will be done minus due process. You see America as STR warned obama will not directly go after your gun rights he will use every tool he has to go around it and Congress.
Obama is wasting no time with his 2016 resolution to do as much damage as possible against the Second Amendment. Here he is meeting with Atty Gen Lynch (aka Eric Holder 2.0 (thank you US Senate)) making it clear the recommendations he received (by whom??) are well within his legal authority. What legal authority would that be since the Executive Branch has no power to make laws? Oh wait as warned he will use the DOJ ATF and other regime agencies to punish law-abiding gun owners via regs and fees while Congress again stands idly by.
Fear not America because Speaker Ryan said "the country will not stand for it" and Rep Kinzinger said on Fox today they'll "take him to court"! Ooooh I'm sure Barry is quaking in his shoes!
One year left of this monster in office America. One year to do as much damage as possible fulfilling his promise of fundamental transformation. If this were a republican president going after the left they'd be in the streets marching, protesting, holding sit-ins, recall elections etc. But the right, you're too busy to do anything using the lame unfounded excuse that you have responsibilities and leftists don't so that's why they can protest all the time. Making excuses instead of getting active boys and girls will be your undoing. The left is willing to put there tails on the line for what they believe in unlike the right who plays it safe. Obama through taxes, regs and executive orders will bypass Congress and eventually disarm Americans by making it impossible to use our expensive paperweights aka guns!
Those of you out there that do not understand what the big deal is because "it's just one type of ammo" pay attention to Wayne LaPierre explanation because he clearly demonstrates that this executive action is the foot in the door to other types of ammunition bans.
NRA Exec Dir Chris Cox is dead on, this is a power grab that all Americans should be concerned about left or right. It shows the willful lawlessness of this self appointed dictator who is setting precedent for future presidents. Anti-gun crowd you may be cheering right now but understand this one day there will be a president you vehemently disagree with who will be as lawless as obama, probably going a step further, outlawing or approving something you are against. The pendulum swings both ways so think twice before you run out to the media or rant in an article how wonderful this is.
Police have been clear they haves no issue with this ammo and there are no studies or reports stating this ammo is of any greater threat than others. This is a pure power grab by this unleashed president who has nothing to lose for the next two years.
We are allowing entirely too many rights, privileges etc to be infringed in the name of "for our safety". The day is going to come when you leftists, who remain silent about these massive power grabs, will rue the day you supported obama. Heck maybe that day will be when Pres Ted Cruz, who you despise, will use his pen and phone... or how about Pres Jeb Bush! Yea think about it when you cheer gleefully.
