Sanders in 1987 Admits Single Payer Healthcare Would Bankrupt the Nation

While the democrat establishment is in denial, it's becoming clear Bernie Sanders is the frontrunner for the DNC nomination to run against Pres Trump. Makes sense he's getting so much support from clueless voters since he is promising just about free everything, dismantling of our border and military and bring chaos to corporate America.

One of his promises is Medicare for All, which if you don't know is a govt program for older Americans (65 and over) as well as some younger Americans with disabilities. Medicaid is a similar govt health program for low-income families and children, elderly and those with disabilities. In a nutshell Sanders is using an existing govt program people can identify with to push his policy for single payer healthcare / healthcare for all.

Here is Sanders in 1987, talking about Medicaid, admitting if we were to make it available for everyone (which is what he wants to do now) the cost would be an "astronomical sum of money, that you know we would bankrupt the nation".

Sanders has no idea what it's going to cost today,

... knows the country cannot afford in 87 let alone today, yet healthcare for all is one of his major campaign promises! This guy will destroy the US healthcare system and economy if he gets elected.

Sanders Admits People Will Pay More For His Govt Run Healthcare Plan

"You can keep your healthcare plan if you like your healthcare plan" was the first lie told to the American people for the first step to govt run healthcare plan, obamacare, that turned into a total disaster. If Bernie Sanders is able to win the Presidency and get his version of govt run healthcare enacted not only will people get a lower quality care but we'll all be paying more.

Socialism doesn't work, never has, especially in countries whose borders are not secure. Everyone and their grandmother will flood into a nation offering free stuff like Sanders' and all the other democrat candidates are offering. Their plan for govt run healthcare, education etc is unsustainable, and will inevitably lead to death. We have already seen examples like the healthcare systems in the UK, Canada etc, where foreigners, who have the means, will come to the US for treatment vs using their nations system. We also have an example of how bad things will go right here in the US via the Veterans Administration. We have Vets dying while they wait to see a doctor for care.

Sanders has never held a real job, he has never run a business or accomplished anything in his entire life yet thinks he can create a system to care for all 330M Americans at zero cost to the users! He'll tax the rich to cover the expense, but what happens once he taxes them into bankruptcy? Bernie will go after rich corporations and Wall St, but again what happens once he taxes them into BK or they move overseas?

You ever see the movie Big with Tom Hanks, where his character proposes a new electronic comic book? Sanders and ANY Leftist offering free stuff, is Hanks' character in that movie proposing a product that is unaffordable, impractical and frankly dangerous. The only thing that will come from Sanders' plan is financial carnage and death.

Bernie Sanders Admits Govt Run Single Payer Health Care Will Require Tax Increases

Bernie Sanders may be a socialist and radical in his policies but the guy is at least honest, unlike the other DNC presidential candidates. The socialist admitted during a town hall in Concord NH that govt run single payer health care will require tax increases.

That's right America, you will be taxed more to pay for govt controlled health care, where the level of care will be far lower than it is now. Have you heard the nightmare stories about the level of care veterans receive from the VA? That IS govt controlled health care, where we all will be subjected to the same abuse as our veterans where many have died WAITING to see a doctor!

Govt controlled health care does not work, just ask the Brits or Canadians who come here. People with the means/ money come to the US for care vs going through their own countries HC system.

What we need is for insurance companies to be able to compete across state lines, that will increase the level of competition and drive prices down making HC affordable for everyone, but Leftists don't see it that way. Their goal is not affordable HC, they're desire to control the system is to control the people, deciding who, when and how people will get care.

Do you really want people like Bernie Sanders deciding whether you can get treatment or not? We've already had this debate with obamacare, which again was designed to fail to in fact open the door for single payer as obama suggested when he was campaigning for the 2008 election.

2020 Dems Endorse Single Payer Health Care That Eliminates Private Insurance

"If you like your health care plan you can't keep it" is the motto of these radical democrats, lead by Bernie Sanders, making it clear they want to control your life from the beginning to the end of your life.
