McConnell Announces Senate Will Vote on Full Repeal Obamacare, No Replacement

We can thank Senators Mike Lee and Jerry Moran (along with others voicing opposition) for standing their ground as the GOP leadership failed to muster up enough votes for their obamacare replacement. With the failure of McConnellCare, the Senate Majority leader announced tonight that they would move forward with a vote on a full repeal of obamacare... but with a 2 year "transition period to a patient-centered health care system that gives Americans access to quality, affordable care.”

This is all the voters wanted in the first place. Many in Congress were elected over their promise to repeal obamacare NOT replace it. FTR the American people NEVER asked the govt to take over the healthcare system. This nightmare was started years ago when Hillary wanted it as First Lady and it's been a haunt ever since.

As for this 2 year transition period, they need to create something simple that allows the free market to step in and solve the problem. Open the markets up across states lines. How is it we can be trusted to buy auto insurance on our own from anywhere but not health insurance? Medicare can be reworked to provide coverage for people who really need it vs just putting everyone on it.

The Cruz/ Lee Amendment was the poison pill, and the leadership balked. It not only allowed health insurers to do what they want but it even allowed for a portion of obamacare to stand. It truly was if you like your plan you can keep your plan deal that many supported EXCEPT for progressive republicans!

Regardless of this act by McConnell to do what we wanted in the first place, he still needs to go and take all the French Republicans with him.

Obama: Little Difference Between Communism and Capitalism, Just Choose What Works

Yes just do whatever works especially those systems that the left has been systematically working in very subtly over the years. They don't teach what socialism and communism are anymore but they make sure everyone knows capitalism doesn't work. Same capitalism that is responsible for the clothes on peoples back, food on their table, job they have that pays for things, solid properly built roofs over their head, internet, smart phones etc they all take for granted. Obama sadly tried to make like there is no difference between communism or capitalism even though he cites people of Cuba are living as people did 50 years ago!

The only system that has worked is capitalism because is driven by freedom to do and make something of yourself with little govt control. By taking Darth Hussein's™ advice to do whatever works would be going socialist or full communist giving progressives all the power they want resulting in very little freedom.

Govt regulators have entirely too much power over this "free" society and market. The FCC, EPA, and all the other govt alphabet mafia organizations that shake down American corporations and people must be reined in. When major decisions are made at these agencies that will have a direct affect on commerce but more importantly peoples civil rights they should get Congressional approval. Some monsters that live among us don't want to be Mayors, Senators, Representatives, Governors or even President, they want to be a Regulator because they go unchecked most of the time and have more impact than any elected individual or piece of legislation.

Net Neutrality will be bad for everyone regardless of the benefits proponents claim. It will leave the flow or rather control of information on the internet in the hands of govt. The internet is the last true example of freedom, you can do just about anything you want on the net from speaking your mind to making money. If the feds get their claws into the net and treat it as a utility a persons ability to speak out or make a buck will be lost. Just as the feds control content on tv and radio they will have the same power on the net.

You melted the phone lines in DC when Boehner was up for re-election as Speaker putting fear into the GOP. It would be in every Americans best interest left or right, conservative or liberal, communist or capitalist to melt the phone & fax lines and crash their email servers making it clear to keep their dirty corrupt hands off the net!
