Senate Majority Ldr Mitch McConnell took to the Senate floor blasting the Left over their decades old scare tactics and fear-mongering over SCOTUS nominees. The hysterics we're hearing now over Justice Kennedy's replacement is almost the exact nonsense the Left was using when HE WAS A NOMINEE!

This site is no fan of McConnell's but when he or anyone on either side of the aisle is right on a major issue they get the props they deserve. The American people who are unaware/ not engaged with politics need to be made aware of these scare tactics Leftists use. They always cry the world is coming to an end every single time something positive is done, yet here we are the apocalypse never happened after tax reform, summit with Kim Jung un, Gorsuch was appointed (nor was Roe v Wade overturned when he took the bench) etc.

Even more comical are the Left's hysterics that the Constitution is in danger? How so? How can nominating Constitutional originalists put it in danger? It was in danger from 2009-2016, and on the edge with the threat of a Hillary Clinton administration, under Trump the Constitution is secure!

Speaking of Gorsuch and Roe v Wade, did we miss something? Is there a case pending to in fact overturn it? Because it didn't happen when he was appointed, yet all we've been hearing is how the sky will fall with this next appointed. All the democrats seem to care about is abortion, illegal aliens, gun control, raising taxes, silencing dissent, free stuff for everyone... you know the drill all the touchy feely things. Democrats couldn't careless about a Justice being appointed who will rule per the US Constitution. Hell Justice Ginsburg thinks we should go by the South African Constitution which is loaded with social justice bullshit!

Mitch McConnell: 'Bipartisan Agreement' on DACA Amnesty Coming in January - Video

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell fielded questions today before leaving for Christmas break stressing his desire to have more bipartisanship on future legislation. He gave two examples where he believes there will be bipartisan agreement, Dodd-Frank "to give some relief to smaller financial institutions" and DACA aka ILLEGAL ALIEN amnesty.

Why is the Senate Majority Leader talking about granting amnesty to illegal aliens? Why is the Senate Majority Leader talking about making an illegal executive order, by a fmr lawless president, into law?

The American people will not stand for amnesty being granted to anyone for any reason, including sad poor me stories! DREAMers/ DACA kids presence in the US is as ILLEGAL as their parents who brought them here. No one cares how or when they were brought in AND to grant them legal status is rewarding bad... criminal behavior!

Obama started this mess in 2012, those "kids" have had 5, count them FIVE years to make things right. Did any of them even attempt to apply for citizenship? No! But they had plenty of time to protest, get in front of cameras telling their sad poor me stories, apply for free tuition and all the other free stuff the democrats were handing out!

Nope sorry there will be NO AMNESTY and anyone in DC pushing it better be prepared to be run right out of office! You will be challenged in the primary you will lose your seat. The People have spoken loud and clear on this issue. We want the border secured, the wall built, criminal illegal aliens deported and those who shouldn't be here can leave or go to the back of the line. There are 10 conditions, but not limited to, that must be in any comprehensive immigration bill or ALL bets are off:

1) Illegal aliens will be granted legal/ resident status, not citizenship.
2) Illegals must pay a fine of $10,000 each, in cash. (No, it’s not unreasonable. These people broke the law, committed fraud, use fraudulent documents etc. There are fines and penalties that should be paid. Fees would be paid coming to the US the right way. When you factor in all the costs they’ve put on taxpayers $10K is pretty cheap. $10K is the price you will pay to stay in America after entering illegally)
3) Illegal aliens will be required to pay ALL back taxes, in cash. If illegal aliens cannot account for how long they have been in the US, then each illegal shall be hit for back taxes based on the number of years they are past the legal working age of 14 years old.
Ex: illegal alien is 28 yo, legal working age is 14, said individual will be required to pay 14 years back taxes.
All fines subsequent with failing to pay taxes will be required to be paid as well.
4) Illegal aliens can never vote. Their children and grandchildren cannot vote either. (3 generations, voting is a privilege not a right).... the other 6 conditions are here

McConnell and Ryan Are a Cancer to Pres Trump's Agenda

Pres Trump's agenda to put America first, move on healthcare, tax reform, border security, the economy etc is all being hindered by Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan. These two have been preaching to voters and their party "we need the House", "we need the Senate", "we need the White House" to get things done.

The clock is ticking, if Trump and the GOP don't start racking of some legislative wins they will get bulldozed in 2018.

McConnell Announces Senate Will Vote on Full Repeal Obamacare, No Replacement

We can thank Senators Mike Lee and Jerry Moran (along with others voicing opposition) for standing their ground as the GOP leadership failed to muster up enough votes for their obamacare replacement. With the failure of McConnellCare, the Senate Majority leader announced tonight that they would move forward with a vote on a full repeal of obamacare... but with a 2 year "transition period to a patient-centered health care system that gives Americans access to quality, affordable care.”

This is all the voters wanted in the first place. Many in Congress were elected over their promise to repeal obamacare NOT replace it. FTR the American people NEVER asked the govt to take over the healthcare system. This nightmare was started years ago when Hillary wanted it as First Lady and it's been a haunt ever since.

As for this 2 year transition period, they need to create something simple that allows the free market to step in and solve the problem. Open the markets up across states lines. How is it we can be trusted to buy auto insurance on our own from anywhere but not health insurance? Medicare can be reworked to provide coverage for people who really need it vs just putting everyone on it.

The Cruz/ Lee Amendment was the poison pill, and the leadership balked. It not only allowed health insurers to do what they want but it even allowed for a portion of obamacare to stand. It truly was if you like your plan you can keep your plan deal that many supported EXCEPT for progressive republicans!

Regardless of this act by McConnell to do what we wanted in the first place, he still needs to go and take all the French Republicans with him.

Sen Reid Calls on Boehner to Pass Budget, Debt Ceiling Measures

This just goes to show you how screwed up DC is. Here we have the Senate MINORITY LEADER still acting like Majority Leader/ obama's HENCHMAN dictating what he wants out of the House. With Boehner on his way out there is nothing keeping him from hiding who he is so now you will see things happen.. you won't be happy though!

Now to make matters worse, but no surprise, Dingy Reid continues to blame the republicans for all the debt, budget etc problems. This SOB seems to have forgotten the super-majority progressive dems held for almost 3 years where they failed to pass a budget yet passed some of the worst legislation in US history that is directly responsible for our mountain of debt now.

Sen Majority Ldr Will NOT Pursue Defunding Planned Parenthood. Mad? Blame Rand!

McConnell claims there aren't enough votes to defund Planned Parenthood and override an obama veto so he says we'll have to wait until there is a republican president! In KY the rules say you cannot hold a Senate seat and run for President of the US.... unless you know someone who has a lot of influence with the KY legislature like Mitch McConnell. On Aug 22nd 2015 it was announced that the KY GOP gave the green light allowing Paul to run for both offices. IMO Mitch played a key role in allowing Paul to run for both seats in exchange for support from Paul in the primaries and to be majority leader. Paul is playing the DC game while claiming he is a man of the people and anti-establishment. He is so anti-establishment he backed one of the biggest snakes in the game, and is most likely beholden to him! This is unforgivable and why I will NEVER support Ran Paul. IF he gets the party nomination for 2016 I will not vote for him.

Boehner: Senate Democrats Need to "Get Off Their Ass and Do Something" to Fund DHS

Every part of DHS is going to be funded with the exceptions of anything that has to do with obama's illegal executive amnesty. Let the truth be told through the votes that it is the dems and obama choosing not to fund DHS. Obama is on record over 22 times saying he doesn't have the legal authority to issue amnesty but did it anyway. Many dem senators came out against his illegal action yet they stand with the socialist party by refusing to join the repubs to fund DHS which will defund executive amnesty.
