US Atty Durham & AG Barr Issue Statements On IG Report Conclusions

US Atty John Durham and Atty Gen Bill Barr were quick to issue statements in response to Michael Horowitz's long awaited IG report on FISA abuses.

Barr had already been "on record" a week ago that he disagreed with the reports conclusions. The AG makes it clear there was clear an unjustifiable intrusion launched against Trump and that "...the malfeasance and misfeasance detailed in the Inspector General’s report reflects a clear abuse of the FISA process."

Statement by Attorney General William P. Barr on the Inspector General's Report of the Review of Four FISA Applications and Other Aspects of the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane Investigation

Attorney General William P. Barr issued the following statement:

"Nothing is more important than the credibility and integrity of the FBI and the Department of Justice. That is why we must hold our investigators and prosecutors to the highest ethical and professional standards. The Inspector General’s investigation has provided critical transparency and accountability, and his work is a credit to the Department of Justice. I would like to thank the Inspector General and his team.

The Inspector General’s report now makes clear that the FBI launched an intrusive investigation of a U.S. presidential campaign on the thinnest of suspicions that, in my view, were insufficient to justify the steps taken. It is also clear that, from its inception, the evidence produced by the investigation was consistently exculpatory. Nevertheless, the investigation and surveillance was pushed forward for the duration of the campaign and deep into President Trump’s administration. In the rush to obtain and maintain FISA surveillance of Trump campaign associates, FBI officials misled the FISA court, omitted critical exculpatory facts from their filings, and suppressed or ignored information negating the reliability of their principal source. The Inspector General found the explanations given for these actions unsatisfactory. While most of the misconduct identified by the Inspector General was committed in 2016 and 2017 by a small group of now-former FBI officials, the malfeasance and misfeasance detailed in the Inspector General’s report reflects a clear abuse of the FISA process.

FISA is an essential tool for the protection of the safety of the American people. The Department of Justice and the FBI are committed to taking whatever steps are necessary to rectify the abuses that occurred and to ensure the integrity of the FISA process going forward.

No one is more dismayed about the handling of these FISA applications than Director Wray. I have full confidence in Director Wray and his team at the FBI, as well as the thousands of dedicated line agents who work tirelessly to protect our country. I thank the Director for the comprehensive set of proposed reforms he is announcing today, and I look forward to working with him to implement these and any other appropriate measures.

With respect to DOJ personnel discussed in the report, the Department will follow all appropriate processes and procedures, including as to any potential disciplinary action.""

Durhams response was more of a surprise as it's not general practice for one investigation/ investigator to weigh in on another. We saw this with the Mueller investigation after false statements were made that a response had to be issued to set things straight. Durham wanted to make it clear there is a lot more going on and it should be noted the IG's scope was narrow not to mention not having the power to convene a grand jury, nor prosecute.

Statement of U.S. Attorney John H. Durham

“I have the utmost respect for the mission of the Office of Inspector General and the comprehensive work that went into the report prepared by Mr. Horowitz and his staff. However, our investigation is not limited to developing information from within component parts of the Justice Department. Our investigation has included developing information from other persons and entities, both in the U.S. and outside of the U.S. Based on the evidence collected to date, and while our investigation is ongoing, last month we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened.”

Those taking a victory lap on the Left might want to wait before they again make fools of themselves.

That said both Barr and Durham need to speed things up as time is not on their side. We cannot have them delivering their findings in the summer or even as an October Surprise. Voters won't care and more importantly those engaged in criminal activity could get away should by some freak act of nature Trump loses in 2020. While it's unlikely we must assume the slightest chance Trump could lose, if that happens all these investigations will be squashed under a new democrat admin and the guilty will be cut loose. Now do you see why time matters?!

Barr and Durham need to start naming names, indicting those engaged in the coup d'état, holding hearings/ trials soon by the Spring, with the big fish going down by the Summer! You do not want to be going into the Fall with nothing happening the dems will use it as a big told you so.

Joe diGenova RIPS The Hill TV's Krystal Ball Apart For Calling AG Barr a Liar

Fmr US Prosecutor Joe diGenova and his wife Victoria Toensing appeared on The Hill TV, with Buck Sexton and Krystal Ball, to discuss what else the Mueller Report. Ball pushed whether or not a sitting President can be indicted questioning AG Bill Barr integrity suggesting he was lying between what was said in the Mueller DOSSIER vs what was said in his press conference. That was enough for diGenova who proceeded to rip into Ball for more or less calling Barr, someone he has known for over 30 years, a liar. Take note during the exchange she does what every progressive does, sits there with a big smile and then denying what we all heard.

This is what the radical left does, they take peoples words out of context, or leave things out, to in fact create a lie to be told over and over again until it becomes "true" on ANYTHING. Bill Barr is doing his job and the Left is upset it's not producing the end result they wanted, ie Trump's impeachment.

This entire witch hunt is bringing the worst out of the democrats who are clearly pushing conservatives red button. diGenova's response is justified and really the kind of response we're all having over how out of control these Clinton/obama loyalists have become. They're willfully taking this country to the brink thinking they'll be standing tall when the dust settles. That's not going to happen, and people better buckle up!

Atty Gen Barr Backs Pres Trump's National Emergency Declaration: "Solidly Grounded in Law"

"The humanitarian and security crisis we have on the border right now is exactly the kind of emergency that presidents are permitted to address under the National Emergencies Act."

The Democrats and 12 GOP senators seem to think Pres Trump's National Emergency declaration is uncalled for, trivializing the crisis we all see unfolding daily along the US southern border. Following the House and then Senate passing resolutions of disapproval, the final draft was sent to his desk to be signed, where as promised it was VETOED by Pres Trump.

Trump being a showman, knowing how to get a message across to the country (since the media LIES), had the VP, Angel Mom's, border agents, law enforcement who are on the front lines, ya know actual experts on the border crisis, in attendance as well as DHS Sec Nielsen and Atty Gen Barr. Following DHS Sec's comments the AG weighed in stating unequivocally Pres Trump was acting well within the rule of law and the powers delegated to him under the National Emergencies Act passed in 1976.

“The crisis that we’re dealing with today is right on our doorstep and it presents a real clear and present danger to the American people. What you've done from a legal standpoint is solidly grounded in law and from the standpoint of protecting the American people it's imperative.”

Does his comment sound rehearsed, a little too well prepared legal analysis/ validation? Maybe, if anything this was Trump, through Barr, sending a message to the obstructionists he's not playing games. The democrats and backstabbing GOP establishment hopes of the DOJ being on their side dried up in about 75 seconds.

Joe diGenova: Jeff Sessions Has No Command Presence (Video)

Joe diGenova appearing on Hannity called out Atty Gen Jeff Sessions over his poor handling of the DOJ, clearly being in way over his head, having "no command presence". The fact that Rod Rosenstein convinced him from day one to recuse himself and has been calling the shots at the DOJ supports diGenova's rightful attack on the timid AG.

Knowing everything we know as of today how FISA judges were duped with dossier, Clinton and the DNC's fingerprints along with members in the intel agency are all over this witch hunt against POTUS you would think Sessions would take control. For the record, recusal is not some legally binding contract, it's simply ones promise to stay out of an issue. Sessions should have made a public announcement he's stepping in citing the reasons why he's reversing his recusal, or resigned at this point, or better yet never taking the job in the first place.

This entire mess unfolding before us, this soft coup is because Sessions has taken himself out of the game allowing obama/ clinton loyalists to make a joke of the DOJ, FBI and intel agencies. Massive pressure should be put on the DOJ by the American people for Sessions to get out of the way allowing Pres Trump to appoint an effective and FAIR AG who will bring justice back to America vs this Banana Republic 2 rule justice system.

Americans fed up with this nonsense should call and email the DOJ, melt down the phone lines and crash the email server, politely asking Sessions to resign.

Judge Napolitano: We Need an Attorney General That Does His Job (Video)

It is time for Jeff Sessions to resign, or be fired, when Pres Trump gets back to the US. The Senator who had us all believing he was "Mr Law and Order" for years has turned out to be one of the biggest disappoints, if not failures. For the record, yours truly was and remains the only one who warned about current Congress members being appointed to cabinet positions, asking "Who will replace _?". Not only did we lose a decent Senator, we now have an ineffective/ impotent AG, AND to make matters worse his Senate seat appears to be on its way to being taken over by the democrats because of the Roy Moore fiasco.

Judge Napolitano is correct, there is no reason for Sessions to appoint a new special counsel, or appoint others on any other issues, he needs to do the job he was hired to do and stop cowering the bullies in the democrat party. His predecessors (Lynch & Holder) didn't recuse themselves from every single scandal we saw in the obama regime, yet Sessions takes a step back on almost anything even remotely tied to Russia, Russia, Russia.

Jeff Sessions fooled us he would run the DOJ by the letter of the law, to bring justice to the land. He fooled us in the same way the GOP fooled us they would repeal obamacare. Everyday he remains AG, he does more damage to the Trump admin through non-action. Sessions has done nothing about clear violations of federal laws.
- Hillary Clinton should be under full criminal investigation for violating federal laws with regards to her emails, Uranium One and then some.
- Comey, Mueller, Rosenstein and several other lackey's should be under federal investigation for the roles they've played in Uranium One, and the email scandal.
- CA Gov Brown, and many other sanctuary city/ state leaders should have been arrested for outright violating federal immigration laws aiding and abetting illegal aliens.

Sessions is a disaster and has to go.
