Jeff Session's has tendered his resignation as Attorney General at Pres Trump's request! This is good news for the administration and American's as Sessions has sat idly by while crimes continued to be committed by Deep State actors, laws broken, and unindicted felons remain free and clear due to his clear incompetence.
Sessions is by far the biggest disappointment to come out of Trump's presidency. He should have never accepted the position knowing he would recuse himself from the democrat cooked up Russian conspiracy, where he ceded his power as AG to Rod Rosenstein, who is knee-deep in the Uranium One scandal, among others. The question we need to ask is will Rosenstein be ousted now that Sessions is out? Will Mueller investigation witch hunt finally come under control and completed seeing that nothing has really come of it except wasting taxpayers dollars and trashing POTUS?
Who will replace Sessions? POTUS should NOT select a sitting member of the House or the Senate. We saw how badly that turned out with Sessions becoming AG, where we not only got a LOUSY AG, but his Senate seat was lost to the democrats. Trump cannot afford this to happen again, he must select someone on the outside.
With the democrats running the House for the next 2 years, vowing to go after POTUS, it's safe to assume, per Trump's request for his resignation, POTUS is seeking a WARTIME Consigliere to run the DOJ. The dems want to go to war with him, that's what they're going to get now that Sessions is out!

Wow Judge Pirro went ballistic on Atty General Jeff Sessions, expressing the anger many Americans feel towards the AG over how he is doing nothing while the President is being treated like a criminal for doing his job.
Many of Pirro's critics will whine that she is just shilling for Trump, but she lays out a damning case over Sessions' incompetence ever since taking office under false pretenses. There was no reason for him to recuse himself and he should have let POTUS know before accepting the job. After all we've learned to date he should reverse as there was no reason for him to "stay out of it", other than shutting it! Everything Donald Trump is being accused of the democrats, Hillary Clinton and soft coup conspirators within the DOJ/ FBI have actually committed! They are the ones colluding with the Russians, wheeling and dealing behind closed doors and God knows what else. If sessions were doing his job he would launch investigations into Uranium, Fusion GPS, Hillary's emails etc. Crime is happening right before his eyes and he does nothing. Joe diGenova appearing on Hannity called out Atty Gen Jeff Sessions over his poor handling of the DOJ, clearly being in way over his head, having "no command presence". The fact that Rod Rosenstein convinced him from day one to recuse himself and has been calling the shots at the DOJ supports diGenova's rightful attack on the timid AG.
Knowing everything we know as of today how FISA judges were duped with dossier, Clinton and the DNC's fingerprints along with members in the intel agency are all over this witch hunt against POTUS you would think Sessions would take control. For the record, recusal is not some legally binding contract, it's simply ones promise to stay out of an issue. Sessions should have made a public announcement he's stepping in citing the reasons why he's reversing his recusal, or resigned at this point, or better yet never taking the job in the first place.

Jeff Sessions is clearly hiding something to be covering for Rod Rosenstein who is known to have a temper and has been acting above the law, as if a govt unto himself. Sessions has shown ZERO loyalty towards his former Congressional colleagues who have OVERSIGHT and have been adamant the DOJ/ FBI is stonewalling them at every turn with their document requests in the Russia probe.
Those defending and making excuses for Sessions need to come out of denial at this point. He's no "sleeper agent" setting the Deep State up to bring them down. The Judge opened her show up giving an up-to-date synopsis of the special investigation, aka witch hunt, against Pres Trump after it's one year anniversary. To date nothing has been accomplished nor any illegal or criminal activity has been proven, while millions of tax dollars are wasted. What the Judge is doing in this segment is to actuality build a "case" against the Attorney General Jeff Sessions, calling him the "most dangerous man in America".
Everything you have been witnessing during this witch hunt against Trump is because of Jeff Sessions! He is weak and impotent, allowing himself to be convinced by Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein (who is part of the Deep State esp with regards to Uranium One) to recuse himself, where Rod has more or less taken control of the DOJ. What is that? AG Sessions announced a lawsuit against the state of California for being in violation of federal immigration law. Not surprising CA leaders, from Jerry Brown, AG Becerra, Oakland Mayor Schaaf to members of Congress, remained defiant making it abundantly clear they care MORE about illegal aliens than US citizens.

We had a civil war over states being defiant to the govt and US Constitution. Federal law (10th Amend) supersedes state laws, especially on issues of immigration, which is a national security issue. Brown and company have ruined the state economically and socially, while opening the door to illegals putting Americans in danger. Or do the dreams of Kate Steinle, Jamiel Shaw Jr and many, many other Americans who have fallen victim to illegal aliens not count? What about the dreams of those working hard who are being over taxed to cover state programs that benefit illegal aliens over US citizens? News hit late in the day after Rep Devin Nunes called out the DOJ (see below) over the FBI committing potentially illegal actions acquiring the FISA warrant on fmr Trump campaign advisor Carter Page. Fox's legal analyst, Gregg Jarrett, weighed in on AG's performance at this point stating Sessions "has been utterly feckless". If you have been following everything the has been going on or even half, you know Jeff Sessions has turned out to be the biggest disappointment of all of Pres Trump's Cabinet appointments. We have literal crimes being committed that had it been committed against the obama admin, depending on when, AG's Holder or Lynch would have already perp walked those conspiring against obama!

Jim Jordan justifiably grilled Attorney General Jeff Sessions at the House Judiciary hearing over why there hasn't been any action from the DOJ with regards to Uranium One and the Clinton Foundation and the highly questionable actions of the Clinton campaign funding the anti-Trump dossier. Sessions suggested there has to be sufficient evidence, "factual basis", to appoint a special counsel where Jordan then fired back making the case as clear as day an investigation from the DOJ or special counsel is warranted.

On the eve of his testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, Jeff Sessions announced the DOJ is looking into appointing special counsel to investigate the Uranium One deal and the Clinton Foundation. Reps Louie Gohmert, Matt Gaetz and Andy Biggs discuss this news and the clear corruption we're witnessing to protect cover-up the Clinton Crime Family's business by rogue DOJ personnel including Rod Rosenstein and Bob Mueller.
It would appear after numerous letters sent to the DOJ Jeff Sessions may have gotten the hint Congress, and the American people for that matter, are beyond tired of his inaction. Hillary needs to be under full criminal investigation, hopefully this is the start.

If you want results, and the truth to be uncovered you're going to need someone seasoned like Giuliani who will not blink when guys like Rosenstein, Comey and Mueller (they are deeply involved) try to bite back; and they will with the DNC, and media defending them all the way, along with others the Clinton's will get to attack whomever is appointed. Giuliani had the mob gunning for him for years and it didn't phase him, being special counsel investigating the Clinton Crime Family would be like old times!

Jeff Sessions needs to go, he is not fit to run the DOJ. He allowed Lois Lerner to slide after weaponizing the IRS and then destroying evidence, recused himself from Russia investigation when it was not necessary, let Hillary walk in the email scandal and the list goes on and on as Jason Chaffetz revealed Oct 1st at with Judge Jeanine Pirro. This man had everyone believing he would be "Mr Law and Order" as Attorney General. He fooled us all just as the GOP fooled us all when they promised to repeal obamacare, if given majority in the House, Senate and a republican President. There is no logical reason for Sessions to keep a gag order (NDA) in force by Loretta Lynch.
Attorney Victoria Toensing explained on Hannity the FBI informant signed an NDA, with criminal penalties, that prevents the informant from speaking about what he knows on the uranium deal between Clinton, obama admin and the Russians. BUT that was during the past admin. Obama is gone, Loretta Lynch has no power or authority either, both are civilians.
As Dobb's points out, it's fine the NDA was in force during the obama admin as they did it to protect the obama regime, but this uranium scandal is serious and a national security issue. Sessions can override as Schaffer argues and is most likely correct there is a huge cover-up within the FBI.
Since Sessions is obstructing, Chuck Grassley, chairing Senate Judiciary Committee, and Devin Nunes, chairing House Intel Committee, both need to grant the FBI informant full immunity so we can learn the truth on this real story of Russian collusion. It puzzling as to why Pres Trump has not stepped in ordering Sessions to do what is right or ask for his resignation. Make no mistake about it, that is where we are at with this AG. Sessions, almost since the day he took office, has acted incompetent. He is not working in the best interests of the American people who expected the corrupt to finally be brought to justice.
Fmr Congressman Jason Chaffetz dropped a bomb on Justice With Judge Jeanine when he was asked why there were no prosecutions from any of the major scandals during the obama admin.
Chaffetz told Pirro, "I could tell you that while I was in Congress and the Chairman of the Oversight Committee I did go over and visit with Attorney General Sessions and it was one of the most frustrating discussions I had! Because whether it was the IRS, Fast and Furious, the email scandal, that we went through, I did not see the Attorney General willing to just let Lady Justice administer justice."
As Pirro is clearly taken aback and agitated to hear what his answer, she asked again where Chaffetz went more into detail demonstrating the AG has no interest in pursuing "any major cases" from the obama admin.
Pirro: "Did he [Sessions] say is presenting anything to a grand jury, yes or no?"
Chaffetz: "No, he basically let me know that he wasn't going to pursue on the major cases."
Jeff Sessions was a great Senator, but he has no intention of paneling a grand jury on any of the major scandals we've witnessed over the last 8 years. Sessions lack of taking action to this day on many issues has made it abundantly clear he is an ineffective AG.
It is time for President Trump to cut Jeff Sessions loose. He is not the man who would uphold law and order as we believed. Sessions has fooled us just as the GOP fooled us all for years that they wanted to repeal obamacare, move on immigration and other issues.

He is an outsider he needs to find solid, stable outsiders like himself, with some integrity to run this govt because we cannot trust any of these people. We just saw the nonsense with Tom Price, and now this bombshell about Sessions.
Hillary Clinton, her aides and attorneys destroyed evidence in a Congressional investigation. Had any other American done this they would already be in prison, but Clinton gets rewarded with multi-million dollar book deal. Lara Loomer confronted Clinton at a recent book signing asking what happened to the 33K emails, Benghazi and the money for Haiti. In typical progressive... communist fashion, the unindicted felon laughed it off recommended reading her book and then trivialized literal factual crimes as "untrue".
This is what happens in a Banana Republic, Jim Comey established the US is last year, and Jeff Sessions maintains by allowing this UNINDICTED FELON to walk free.
"Ample evidence" against Clinton is the definition of an understatement! The case has been made for well over a year now over the criminal actions committed by Hillary Clinton and those in her team. Why the DOJ, under Jeff Sessions, has chosen to let her walk is beyond infuriating. It was bad enough to learn Comey never had any intentions of going after her and then listen to him read of that indictment only to say it's a nothing burger. Sessions is doing nothing to rebuild the integrity of the DOJ making it clear the US is a Banana Republic.
If you have frequented this site you know it has promoted and supported Sessions while he was Senator. As Attorney General I can no longer support him. He presented himself as man who will stand for the rule of law, but is constantly taking the backseat for whatever reason maybe in fear (IMO) of attacks from progressives to do his job. I have zero confidence in his ability to serve as an effective AG for Donald Trump.
Judge Nap is clearly agitated with the DOJ's decision dismissing criminal activity, and like many he is strongly disappointed in Sessions for not going after Clinton, and on other issues. At this point Jeff Sessions should be forced to resign before he does real damage allowing Leftists to go free.
What the hell is going on!? To be clear, yes the federal judge, appointed by obama, has ordered a search for Clinton's Benghazi emails, but as Judge Nap explains, the State Dept and DOJ, under Trump, are/ were trying to block access!! What in the blue hell is Rex Tillerson and Jeff Sessions departments doing?
Before everyone goes nuts we need this question answered:
Are those involved with blocking the access, protecting Hillary, obama holdovers!?
If so, they should be fired immediately as ALL obama holdovers/ loyalists. Said individuals are the Deep State many deny exist who are actively engaged in a soft coup, in conjunction with the democrat party and mainstream media. If not, Tillerson and Sessions have some serious explaining to do not only to Pres Trump but the American people.
The democrats have such contempt for Pres Trump they continued to push the Trump-Russia narrative even though it has been proven a lie. These people are so desperate they ignore other issues Sen Tom Cotton gladly pointed out as he destroyed them during the Sessions Hearing.
Nothing is getting done with regards to healthcare, tax reform, job creation, border security and national defense because all of DC's time is being spent on these lies of collusion and obstruction. It's infuriating how dems blasted the GOP wasting time and money for running hearings and investigations into outright obama admin corruption but demand the same for this lie they've cooked up.
