Border Patrol Chief Carla Provost told House Homeland Security committee that she has had to divert agents from border security to process and care for illegals, at AOC's alleged "concentration camps", and CBP has seen an influx of family units from 52 other countries besides Mexico, Central and South America illegally crossing the border:
“I have been forced divert 40-60% of Border Patrols manpower away from the border as we process and care for nearly 435,000 families and children that have flooded across our southern border so far this year.... Family units from 52 countries have illegally crossed the southern border so far this year.... In just two weeks, more than 740 individuals from African nations, primarily family units, have been apprehended in Del Rio sector alone."
The statistics Provost reads off are staggering and her call to Congress to do something to stop the flow of illegals into the US are going to deaf ears. If what's going on at the border is not a crisis, an invasion then what is?
Democrats continue to keep the government shutdown over border security while we have people from all over the world infiltrating the US at the southern border. No. Middle easterners are easily traveling to South America and then moving through Central America into Mexico. The media puts a lot of focus on the family units trying to get into the US for a better life, but as the Chief explains, they account for less than 50% of the apprehensions in South Texas.The majority being caught are men, young men of fighting age, gang members and criminals. These are not the best of the best American citizens would welcome, the media of course doesn't say one word about.
There are 55 miles of fencing on the east side of the sector that accounts for 6% of BP apprehensions. This report features a single mother coming from Honduras looking work and to escape [gang] violence... well we have single mothers looking for work and dealing with gang violence, terrorism, and crazy people going on killing sprees in America too! What makes this woman them better than US citizens that she and countless others like her can be granted entry, mind you after entering illegally, being given all the free stuff they're seeking at the expense of American taxpayers? The imperial regime claims 80% of illegals crossing the border are captured but a report DHS was ordered not to release because its "not done" ;) ;) says only 50% of illegals are being apprehended. That means half of whatever number of illegals coming into the US you want to use are evading capture.
Americans don't care if the number of illegal crossings are down since 2005, they're still crossing over. The US borders need to be closed. Those trying to enter from nations whom the US cannot vet with 100% confidence they pose no threat should not be allowed entry to the US. The U.S. will boost the number of refugees it accepts from around the world to 100,000 annually, up from 70,000 now, as part of an effort to help Europe cope with a migration crisis, Secretary of State John Kerry said.
The increase would include at least 10,000 Syrian refugees that the White House has proposed admitting to the U.S. next year, Mr. Kerry said. Beyond that, however, details were scarce.
Since 2011, the U.S. has taken in about 1,600 Syrians.
Some Republicans say the U.S. should concentrate its efforts on helping Syrians resettle in the region, rather than transport them far from home. Other critics have raised concerns about Islamic State or other militants outwitting the lengthy background checks each applicant undergoes to infiltrate the U.S. posing as refugees.
But Mr. Kerry said the U.S. move would be “in keeping with America’s best tradition as a land of second chances and a beacon of hope.”
Speaking in Berlin on Sunday alongside his German counterpart, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, he added that Germany’s welcome of hundreds of thousands of migrants this year served as an “example for the world.”

Securing the border has nothing to do with race so anyone saying those in favor hate Mexicans etc are lying and frankly willfully putting the US in danger. OTM's (Other Than Mexican) is a bigger concern than those who are allegedly crossing the border looking for a job. Those opposed to securing the border want to ignore the drug runners, human traffickers for the sex slave industry but turning a blind-eye to terrorists crossing is inexcusable and dangerous. From Oct 2016 to May 2016 6400 illegal OTM's from the middle east, Asia and Africa have been captured (remember these are the ones on the books) but how many are getting through right now moving about the streets of America?
Between the OTM's and criminal illegal aliens being released, this administration has truly put the US in danger and NONE of our elected leaders in Congress are doing, nor saying, anything about it. Again as I've stated the US is a Banana Republic, the elites live above the law, getting rich, living in their little fortresses while we are left at the will of criminals and terrorists.
