Biden: "Hell Yes" I'd Appoint Obama to Supreme Court

No America Uncle Joe is not kidding. During his appearance on The Late Show Stephen Colbert asked the former VP during lightning round whether he would appoint barack milhous benito hussein obama to the Supreme Court and he answered "Hell Yes! I don’t think he’d do it but,... but he’s fully qualified."

The Left is obsessed with obama they want him back in power. If the dems had majority power today they would override the 22nd Amendment removing Presidential Term Limits just to get the worst POTUS in US history back in power.

The Presidential election isn't just about whose team wins the Oval Office, it's about what gets done over that persons term. One of the most important duties of POTUS is to appoint competent judges to the federal courts as well as the Supreme Court. When democrats are in power they choose activists, as we saw with obama where Pres Trump is now having to deal with several overriding his legal orders. Scarborough Suggests Dems Add Stacking SCOTUS Under a Nat'l Emergency to Campaign Platform

Sen DICK Blumenthal is a disgraceful example of a United States Senator who has never read the Constitution. Nowhere in our founding documents does it say anything about one being a monarch. As a matter of fact DICK, POTUS is limited to four years in office, unlike a monarch who serves for life. Congress went ahead to pass the 22nd Amendment limiting POTUS to 2 terms after FDR's 4 term reign. So it's impossible for Trump or anyone else to reign indefinitely like a monarch, not to mention anyone they appoint are subjected to Senate confirmation per Article II Section 2.

MSNBC Host: Is Originalist View of Constitution Appropriate Now That Americans Are More Progressive 📺

Are you shocked to hear such nonsense from a progressive wanting a progressive view, or rather interpretation of the Constitution? This is what they do, if they can't take a match to the Constitution they'll try to redefine it. The Left has been trying to do this for decades with regards to, and a great example, gun control.

If we listen to the progressive view on the Second Amendment, the Founders meant that the govt should regulate the use of weapons and dictate who can and cannot own one. The govt will establish and oversee a militia it situation warrants it, and bearing arms only meant for use within your home.

Now if we go by an originalist, they will take the words of the Founders that a militia is in fact the People, any able bodied male or female. And remember teens stood should to shoulder with adults to win our independence and also during the Civil War. A well regulated militia simply meant, well organized, trained and equipped. Bearing arms meant how they wrote it, to be able to carry a weapon anywhere and everywhere.

Pick any Amendment  the Left will use their definitions of words today (via their pals in academia) to reinterpret the Constitution's meaning.

Do you see how progressives will pervert the meaning of the Constitution, and why it is so important to have an originalist on the Supreme Court? Here we have a Supreme Court ruling in favor of non-union members where Nancy Pelosi considers it "violence to our democracy"!? How is a ruling that stops taking ones money and using it in ways they oppose violence to our democracy?

Ask any company about how much time and resources they have to provide to stay in compliance with worker regs and laws!? Any ruling not only from SCOTUS but lower courts that is not in favor of progressives ideology is always considered an evil act. These people act like spoiled rotten children not getting their way when a court rules against them:

The courts are meant to interpret law and rule whether a charge or previous decision lies within the boundaries of the Constitution. They cite the "precedent" set in 2016 when obama wanted to replace Scalia with Merrick Garland where Mitch McConnell delayed the confirmation. It's been a "tradition" to not appoint SCOTUS at the end of lame duck presidency, except when democrats are running things.

Justice Elena Kagan was nominated by obama in May 10, 2010. She was confirmed by the Senate August 5, 2010 and then appointed to the bench August 7, 2010. The Midterm elections were Nov 2, 2010. I don't recall anyone in the media nor Chuck Schumer speaking in the Senate to hold off Kagan's nomination until after the midterm election.

This fact isn't stopping countless progressives from proving how hypocritical they truly are. It was okay for obama to do it but not Trump.

SCOTUS Upholds Trump's Travel Ban, 4 Justices Ignore Law

As expected and should be no surprise 5 Supreme Court Justices upheld the rule of law but 4, 2 appointed by obama, chose to ignore it ruling on feelings and continuing their political activism from the bench. In 2015 this site made it clear defending, then candidate, Donald Trump when he spoke of a muslim travel ban that it was legal.

A "muslim ban" of course caused liberals and progressive republicans to meltdown, calling him a racist and "he can't do that." Oh yes he can and did. POTUS holds plenary powers that no lower court can override because it pertains to national security. Because Trump said "muslim ban" people went nuts not realizing the law still remained on his side!

While the Left and unhinged corrupt media rants and raves, calling Trump and the GOP racists, while whining about McConnell blocking obama's SCOTUS nominee, Merrick Garland, at the end of his term, here's the actual law that shuts all of the nonsense down NO ONE took the time to read:

Under 8 US Code § 1182 – Inadmissible aliens

“…(f) Suspension of Entry or Imposition of Restrictions by President
Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate. Whenever the Attorney General finds that a commercial airline has failed to comply with regulations of the Attorney General relating to requirements of airlines for the detection of fraudulent documents used by passengers traveling to the United States (including the training of personnel in such detection), the Attorney General may suspend the entry of some or all aliens transported to the United States by such airline.”

That's it, all other arguments are moot. Furthermore with respect to those saying Trump can't ban people because of religious beliefs, OH YES HE CAN! Aside from the law stating "any class of aliens", keep in mind those attempting to come to the US are NOT citizens. Non-citizens DO NOT have Constitutional rights, therefore the religious right clause of the First Amendment doesn't apply to ANY of them! The protections in the Constitution only apply to citizens, it is NOT a Treaty with the rest of the world. Therefore the argument of discrimination was DOA.

Now with all of that laid out, 4 Justices ruled the other way proving they are political activists. Kagen and Sotomayer were both put on the bench by obama to do just that; rule by feelings and political leaning rather than by what the law says. The other two, Ginsburg and Breyer, are another story who can be summed up as liberal obstructionists.

The lesson to be learned is actions have consequences - to vote or not has consequences. While many detested John McCain for POTUS in 2008 he surely wouldn't have appointed progressive radicals to the bench. Obama spent 8 years stacking the courts with life term serving radicals to carry on his destructive legacy long after he is gone. This case is proof of that as a number of federal judges attempted to violate POTUS' plenary powers on issues of national security over "feelings".

As we approach the midterms you might want to keep judicial appointments in mind since many lower level judges need to be appointed. One or two of them will end up on the Supreme Court under a Presidents term too. If dems regain power in the Senate they will vote against Trump's judicial nominees. Needless to say if the House is lost, as well, Trump gets impeached and they'll dismantle everything he has done. Also if you don't know, dems can impeach judges too!

Stop being complacent with all the "winning", this nation is on the edge, democrats must be stopped. SCOTUS rulings like this should be unanimous 9-0, not 5-4!

WASHINGTON (AP) — A sharply divided Supreme Court on Tuesday upheld President Donald Trump’s ban on travel from several mostly Muslim countries, rejecting a challenge that it discriminated against Muslims or exceeded his authority. A dissenting justice said the outcome was a historic mistake.

The 5-4 decision Tuesday is a big victory for Trump on an issue that is central to his presidency, and the court’s first substantive ruling on a Trump administration policy. The president quickly tweeted his reaction: “Wow!”

Chief Justice John Roberts wrote the majority opinion for the five conservative justices, including Trump nominee Neil Gorsuch.

Roberts wrote that presidents have substantial power to regulate immigration. He also rejected the challengers’ claim of anti-Muslim bias.

But he was careful not to endorse either Trump’s provocative statements about immigration in general or Muslims in particular, including Trump’s campaign pledge to keep Muslims from entering the country.

“We express no view on the soundness of the policy,” Roberts wrote.

The travel ban has been fully in place since December, when the justices put the brakes on lower court rulings that had ruled the policy out of bounds and blocked part of it from being enforced.

SCOTUS Travel Ban Ruling is Slap Down Against Courts But Also Left & Media

The Supreme Court ruled to uphold and hear arguments in Oct on Pres Trumps temporary travel ban against 6 middle eastern countries today, overriding rogue judicial activists in the 9th and 4th Circuit Courts. The judges in these courts are clearly out of control ruling on political correctness than federal law. Said judges should be placed under investigation and previous decisions should be reviewed since they don't seem to care about national security.

Today's decision is a big win for the President and validation that the information posted on this site is legit. Dec 2015 I posted such an Executive Order proposed by candidate Trump would be legal.

Aside from that the bigger message in this ruling is that all the Leftist tv pundits, "legal" experts and the like who said this executive order was not legal nor Constitutional are big fat LIARS! What they were trying to do was manipulate  people to side with nothing more than complete and total nonsense and feelings.They lied to the American people, caring more about "refugees rights" than citizens security.

National security and the laws on the books supersede how one feels things should work.
