DOJ Rules NO Criminal Charges Against Lois Lerner or IRS Officials

No surprise here since Loretta Lynch is carrying on the do nothing motto of the obama/Holder DOJ. It is a complete slap in the face to Americans for the DOJ to suggest there was no political motivation behind targeting of conservatives by Lerner and the IRS. A dangerous precedent has been set for the govt to target Americans over their free speech and political beliefs.

With this news conservatives, TEA Party and true republicans should be prepared for nothing to come about from the FBI investigation into the certified liar and "Butcher of Benghazi" Hillary Clinton. Even though she was caught in several lies during her testimony, deleted emails are surfacing and her story falling apart this FBI/ DOJ will NOT indict her. IRS Commissioner Admits Lois Lerner's Hard Drive Was Destroyed

Koskinen: "I'm advised the actual hard drive, after it was determined that it was dysfunctional and that with experts no emails could be retrieved, was recycled and destroyed in the normal process."
Chairman Camp: "So was it physically destroyed?
Koskinen "That's my understanding"
Chairman Camp: "So was it melted down, do you know?"
Koskinen: "I have no idea what the recycler does with it this was three years ago"

All that was missing from this exchange was "DUDE it was three years ago"! Experts have made it clear the emails should be on servers and backups but the fact of the matter is the IRS willfully destroyed material evidence in a Congressional investigation after telling Congress they had Lois Lerner's emails.

If anyone was to pull this crap with the IRS they would be fined if not lose property and be thrown in jail! All we should be hearing from our "leaders" on the hill should be that they are fed up and working on bill to abolish the IRS! Will we hear this? Of course not because the day will come when there is a republican admin that will want to use this agency as a weapon just as the demoncrats have. This is why you never hear McConnell, Boehner or other GOP leaders call for action against this corrupt abusive agency.

IRS Has Lost More E-mails...

It’s not just Lois Lerner’s e-mails. The Internal Revenue Service says it can’t produce e-mails from six more employees involved in the targeting of conservative groups, according to two Republicans investigating the scandal.

The IRS told Ways and Means chairman Dave Camp and subcommittee chairman Charles Boustany that computer crashes resulted in additional lost e-mails, including from Nikole Flax, the chief of staff to former IRS commissioner Steven Miller, who was fired in the wake of the targeting scandal.

The revelation about Lerner’s e-mails rekindled the scandal and today’s news has further inflamed Republicans. Camp and Boustany are now demanding a special prosecutor to investigate “every angle” of the targeting. They expressed particular outrage that the agency has known since February that it would not be able to produce the e-mails requested by the committee yet did not apprise the committee of that fact, and they charged in a statement that the IRS is attempting to “cover up the fact that it convenient lost key documents in the investigation.”

If Lerner is the central figure in the scandal — Oversight Committee chairman Darrell Issa said Monday evening he believes she was the senior-most official involved — Flax may be an important auxiliary figure. E-mails produced in response to a Freedom of Information Act request from the group Judicial Watch show Flax giving the green light to Lerner’s request to meet with Department of Justice officials to explore the possibility of criminally prosecuting nonprofit groups — at the suggestion of Democratic senator Sheldon Whitehouse — for engaging in political activity after declaring on their application for nonprofit status that they had no plans to do somore

New Documents Show IRS HQ Control of Tea Party Targeting

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released a new batch of Internal Revenue Service (IRS) documents revealing that its handling of Tea Party applications was directed out of the agency’s headquarters in Washington, DC. The documents also show extensive pressure on the IRS by Senator Carl Levin (D-MI) to shut down conservative-leaning tax-exempt organizations. The IRS’ emails by Lois Lerner detail her misleading explanations to investigators about the targeting of Tea Party organizations.

The documents came in response to an October 2013 Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed after the agency refused to respond to four FOIA requests dating back to May 2013 (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. Internal Revenue Service (No. 1:13-cv-01559)).

One key email string from July 2012 confirms that IRS Tea Party scrutiny was directed from Washington, DC. On July 6, 2010, Holly Paz (the former Director of the IRS Rulings and Agreements Division and current Manager of Exempt Organizations Guidance) asks IRS lawyer Steven Grodnitzky “to let Cindy and Sharon know how we have been handling Tea Party applications in the last few months.” Cindy Thomas is the former director of the IRS Exempt Organizations office in Cincinnati and Sharon Camarillo was a Senior Manager in their Los Angeles office...more

IRS Workers Who Did Not Pay Taxes Received Bonuses, Extra Time Off, and Raises

1000 IRS workers are tax dodgers and you can bet there will be no regime stormtroopers raiding their homes or surrounding their property with snipers to get those back taxes. IRS Awards Bonuses to 1100 Who Owe Back Taxes

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Internal Revenue Service has paid more than $2.8 million in bonuses to employees with recent disciplinary problems, including $1 million to workers who owed back taxes, a government investigator said Tuesday.

More than 2,800 workers got bonuses despite facing a disciplinary action in the previous year, including 1,150 who owed back taxes, said a report by J. Russell George, the Treasury inspector general for tax administration. The bonuses were awarded from October 2010 through December 2012.

George's report said the bonus program doesn't violate federal regulations, but it's inconsistent with the IRS mission to enforce tax laws.

"These awards are designed to recognize and reward IRS employees for a job well done, and that is appropriate, because the IRS should encourage good performance," George said. "However, while not prohibited, providing awards to employees who have been disciplined for failing to pay federal taxes appears to create a conflict with the IRS's charge of ensuring the integrity of the system of tax administration."

Other examples of misconduct by workers getting bonuses included misusing government credit cards for travel, drug use, violent threats and fraudulently claiming unemployment benefits...more

Darrell Issa says emails suggest Elijah Cummings prompted IRS targeting of True the Vote

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., has accused the panel's top Democrat of prompting the Internal Revenue Service in 2012 to target a conservative organization applying for non-profit status.

Issa said records obtained last week from the IRS show communications from the office of ranking member Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., about True the Vote, a Texas-based, non-profit conservative group that aims to prevent voter fraud.

The communications at one point involved Lois Lerner, the ex-IRS official whom Issa's panel is poised to hold in contempt of Congress on Thursday for refusing to provide testimony about her involvement in targeting conservative groups.

“The IRS and the Oversight Minority made numerous requests for virtually identical information from True the Vote, raising concerns that the IRS improperly shared protected taxpayer information with Rep. Cummings’ staff,” a statement from the Oversight panel reads.

According to Issa, Cummings and his staff sought “copies of all training materials used for volunteers, affiliates, or other entities,” from True the Vote...
