There is no way to vet the 10,000++ Syrian muslim refugees obama wants to bring to the US. We have enough problems as it is with illegals crossing the border from all over the world where we know criminals and terrorists have slipped in. Next myth Ogre pushes is the idea that the guns he would love to see removed from public access are fully automatic. One can fire an AR-15(semi-auto) as fast as one of those low caliber weapons he cites in the interview. As a matter of fact to get a fully automatic weapon one has to go through an additional background check through the ATF, pay a tax to have said weapon and have the money to afford a fully automatic weapon which tends be in 5 figure+ range!

Background checks currently in place work but Schumer wants to broadly go after medical records. While on the surface that makes sense to weed out those with mental illness you should know by now if you give progs an inch they take 100 square miles! Did you have a death in the family, go through a divorce or some other traumatic event that required medication and counseling but your fine now? Well if progs have their way they'll use that medical information to prevent someone like you from acquiring a weapon! There is no system in place and there won't be to differentiate the true psycho head-cases from those who just went through a rough time. Progs will have is set up to treat everyone the same so they can prevent new owners and possibly disarm others!
Was the flow of alcohol stopped in the 1920's? Is the war on drugs over? What about human trafficking? BUT let's take Hank at his word for the moment, why would there be violence? Is it because the republicans will reign in the out of control spending the democrats and obama created? There isn't going to be any violence like in Baltimore if a budget gets through but Johnson's claim has some validity since the dems have made millions of Americans so dependent on govt handouts!

Dems have in fact created the environment for there to be violence if the flow of free stuff is cut off. There are so many living in poverty depending on the "free" stuff and money from govt it is not unimaginable for some violence to break out if the money was cut off!

Yes Hank Johnson is back making another ridiculous claim stoking the flames of racism. While Johnson runs through list of names of those killed by cops one has to wonder what about the cops killed in the line of duty he neglects to mention? Why didn't he speak about police detective Terence Avery Green, Officer Robert Wilson III and Deputy US Marshal Josie Wells not to mention other officers who have been targeted as of late? Johnson also left out the names of all the victims of violent crimes too many to list here but we hear about them everyday.
How come there is no mention of all the other races killed by cops?
Consider this: if 65% of the population is blue and the majority of crimes, say 90%, being committed are by blue people is that racism? Is it racist to profile blue people in a community if the majority of crimes being committed are by blue people? Are cops racist for apprehending and getting into shootouts with blue people if they are the majority?
