They also report the potential for 'regulations on concealed assault-style firearms; prohibitions on firearm purchases for those convicted of domestic violence against their partners; and federal guidance on home storage safety measures.' With Chipman running the ATF you can be sure a lot more is coming down the road, the Giffords Org wants all kinds of restrictions and bans that are on many other gun grabbing groups wish list. Fact remains there is NO law, Executive Order, regulation or directive that will stop a criminal from acquiring a weapon and committing crimes. POTUS has explicit plenary authority in the name of national security to stop ANYONE from entering the US. Furthermore immigrants DO NOT have a right to come to America! There is some twisted myth floating around everyone has Constitutional rights and can come to America if they want. NO THEY CAN'T anyone suggesting otherwise is lying! How is a state, Hawaii, who has never taken in any refugees all of a sudden is impacted by the TEMPORARY travel ban? Judge Pirro Blasts Fed Judge and Anti-Trump "Protesters" For Acting Lawless

First she addressed Judge Robart who issued temporary restraining order on Pres Trump's executive order to stop entry of aliens from 7 hot spots, that the left didn't have a problem when obama issued a travel ban. Robart is in fact saying "come on in from wherever you're from, to hell with the President"! (FYI Robart is a Bush appointee who sides with Black Lives Matter domestic terrorist organization). This judges ruling will no doubt be overturned but the problem is how many threats will enter the US during this temporary restraining order. One of the reasons Trump issued it out of the blue with no warning was to not give terrorists window to get into the US. Judge Robart has now opened that window!

Obama to Review Gun Recommendations Within Weeks, Aide Says

President Obama on Wednesday met with former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, an ally of the White House on gun control.

The meeting, which was not on the president's public schedule, comes as he is weighing new executive action on guns in response to a series of mass shootings that have marred his presidency.

Obama huddled with Bloomberg "as part of the administration's continuing push to address gun violence in America," the White House said in a statement.

"The two discussed ways to keep guns out of the hands of those who should not have access to them and what more could be done at the state and local level to help address gun violence in America," the White House added.

Senior adviser Valerie Jarrett, a close Obama confidante who has spearheaded the White House's gun control push, also attended the meeting.

Obama has met with a number of high-profile gun control advocates in recent weeks as the White House scrambles to finalize its new proposals.

Judge Napolitano: Appeals Court Rules 2-1 Against Obama's Illegal Executive Amnesty Order

Well finally the people get a win against obama's lawlessness! In a 2-1 decison the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled to uphold the injunction issued by TX Judge Andrew Hanen blocking obama's ILLEGAL executive amnesty order.

Appeals court rules against Obama immigration plan

NEW ORLEANS – President Obama's plan to protect from deportation an estimated 5 million people living in the United States illegally suffered another setback Monday in a ruling from a New Orleans-based federal appeals court.

In a 2-1 ruling, the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a Texas-based federal judge's injunction blocking the administration's immigration initiative.

Republicans had criticized the plan as an illegal executive overreach when Obama announced it last November. Twenty-six states challenged the plan in court.

The administration argued that the executive branch was within its rights in deciding to defer deportation of selected groups of immigrants, including children who were brought to the U.S. illegally.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott was praised the ruling.

"President Obama should abandon his lawless executive amnesty program and start enforcing the law today," Abbott said in a news release.

The ruling further dims prospects of implementation of the executive action before Obama leaves office in 2017. Appeals over the injunction could take months and, depending on how the case unfolds, it could go back to the Texas federal court for more proceedings...more

Hypocrite Obama Says Future Presidents Cannot Use His Logic on Executive Orders

Good luck if you can stomach listening to this hypocrite stumble justifying what he did with illegals is okay but future presidents would "absolutely not" be able to use that same logic on taxes.

We have Darth Hussein on tape saying repeatedly he didn't have the legal authority to go it alone. He is also on tape saying he gave the House every opportunity to pass the Senates amnesty bill. In the end he did what he wanted. Now if a future President goes down a similar path, as Stephanopoulos suggests, with regards to taxes they can't go it alone and issue an executive order?! Does this idiot understand the very rules and boundaries he is trying to set he just broke with his illegal executive action?!

Sorry Barry but you just set precedent for executive power and you cannot put limits on it. This is the power many have warned democrats would rue the day they sat back and allowed him to run loose unchallenged. Someday there will be a republican President and Congress who is going to take a page from obama. Hopefully that future President will pull an obama enraging the left and when he or she is interviewed they will cite Nov 20th 2014 as their justification for whatever EO they did. We Conservatives can only hope when and if that day comes such an EO would be for something meaningful and truly important to help this country not hurt it as obama has done time and again!

LOL this twit thinks the border is going to be secured by executive amnesty? No just the opposite is going to happen and there will be a rush at the border and all other points of entry into the US. If that wasn't the dumbest thing spoken today Pelozei thinks illegals, who by their very nature being here are breaking the law, will all of a sudden play by the rules, pay taxes and follow whatever else his majesty orders?!

The border after today will be even less secure and so will be our economy, healthcare system(already damaged by barackobamacare) and all social entitlement programs. You are witness the final nails being hammered into the nation as obama fulfills his promise to fundamental transform the USA.
