Federal Law Gives POTUS the Power to Restrict Refugees From Entering the US

The left is going absolutely nuts now over Pres Trump's Executive Action restricting refugees ("muslim ban") entry to the US from parts of the world deemed hotspots for radical islamic terrorism (Syria, Iraq, Iran etc).

This EA is another campaign promise Trump made in 2015 being fulfilled to battle extreme radical islam...

What is crucial for you to know and share with everyone you know is that this Executive Action is 100% legal for the President of the United States to issue supported by existing US law! Furthermore, this wouldn't be the first time a US President issued a ban/ restrictions against a "class of aliens".

First things first, here is Pres Carter's statement invoking the same legal power, as Trump, during the 1980 hostage crisis:

"...Fourth, the Secretary of Treasury [State] and the Attorney General will invalidate all visas issued to Iranian citizens for future entry into the United States, effective today. We will not reissue visas, nor will we issue new visas, except for compelling and proven humanitarian reasons or where the national interest of our own country requires. This directive will be interpreted very strictly..."

The law that gave Carter that authority 37 years ago is the same immigration law Trump is no doubt using, that no one wants to read let alone follow anymore.
Under 8 US Code § 1182 - Inadmissible aliens

"...(f) Suspension of Entry or Imposition of Restrictions by President
Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate. Whenever the Attorney General finds that a commercial airline has failed to comply with regulations of the Attorney General relating to requirements of airlines for the detection of fraudulent documents used by passengers traveling to the United States (including the training of personnel in such detection), the Attorney General may suspend the entry of some or all aliens transported to the United States by such airline."

So there you have it America and shame on each and everyone of the know-it-all's, Constitutional scholars being rolled out by the fake news media and armchair attorneys for not doing their homework before condemning Pres Trump for doing what Carter did!

Obama to Review Gun Recommendations Within Weeks, Aide Says

Obama will hold a news conference later Friday before traveling to San Bernardino, California, to meet with the families of victims of the Dec. 2 terrorist attack that killed 14 people and injured 22. Obama "will not be satisfied" without action on guns before the end of his term, Psaki said.

Obama meets with Bloomberg to talk guns

President Obama on Wednesday met with former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, an ally of the White House on gun control.

The meeting, which was not on the president's public schedule, comes as he is weighing new executive action on guns in response to a series of mass shootings that have marred his presidency.

Obama huddled with Bloomberg "as part of the administration's continuing push to address gun violence in America," the White House said in a statement.

"The two discussed ways to keep guns out of the hands of those who should not have access to them and what more could be done at the state and local level to help address gun violence in America," the White House added.

Senior adviser Valerie Jarrett, a close Obama confidante who has spearheaded the White House's gun control push, also attended the meeting.

Obama has met with a number of high-profile gun control advocates in recent weeks as the White House scrambles to finalize its new proposals.

Judge Napolitano: Appeals Court Rules 2-1 Against Obama's Illegal Executive Amnesty Order

Well finally the people get a win against obama's lawlessness! In a 2-1 decison the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled to uphold the injunction issued by TX Judge Andrew Hanen blocking obama's ILLEGAL executive amnesty order.

Will this stop obama from violating the Constitution? No but it officially proves he does not have the authority to make law on his own! But the damage is done as our border is being invaded right now as you read this because of what he has done. Also keep in mind this is now on its way to the Supreme Court... the same court who ruled we have to buy insurance, it's okay to kill unborn babies and redefine marriage.

Appeals court rules against Obama immigration plan

NEW ORLEANS – President Obama's plan to protect from deportation an estimated 5 million people living in the United States illegally suffered another setback Monday in a ruling from a New Orleans-based federal appeals court.

In a 2-1 ruling, the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a Texas-based federal judge's injunction blocking the administration's immigration initiative.

Republicans had criticized the plan as an illegal executive overreach when Obama announced it last November. Twenty-six states challenged the plan in court.

The administration argued that the executive branch was within its rights in deciding to defer deportation of selected groups of immigrants, including children who were brought to the U.S. illegally.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott was praised the ruling.

"President Obama should abandon his lawless executive amnesty program and start enforcing the law today," Abbott said in a news release.

The ruling further dims prospects of implementation of the executive action before Obama leaves office in 2017. Appeals over the injunction could take months and, depending on how the case unfolds, it could go back to the Texas federal court for more proceedings...more

Sheila Jackson Lee loves to be dramatic but also leave out key information or in this case the reason for cutting some not all funding to DHS. That reason of course would be emperor obama's illegal executive amnesty. Lee claiming funds cut to DHS could lead to another 9/11 is just progressive fear mongering. First off we do have other agencies like NSA, FBI and CIA in play watching out for the nations security. Second and most importantly 90% of DHS personnel are classified essential, which means agents and all this looking out for our security will be on the job no matter what. The nations enjoying a time of of peace vs another 9/11 is not dependent on the estimated 30K workers who would be furloughed. Yes, that is harsh to say but those secretaries, janitors, office workers etc will not leave the US open to an attack. For the record the country did just fine without DHS for over 200 years.

He then went to the next level to suggest republicans are risking national security by playing politics with his illegal action.

Amnesty is right for who? The American people will see no benefit from 5 million++ illegals who already know how to work the system. He has in fact put them ahead of citizens. Again 22 times he said he didn't have legal authority to do it, are DHS members supposed to take his word that it is now legal? The only one playing politics with national security is obama. It's beyond clear and by obama's own admission he had no authority (said it 25 times) to change the immigration law, but DHS Sec Johnson claims the emperor acted within the law/ existing authority!? To date neither obama nor Johnson has stated where in the US Constitution this authority giving POTUS legislative power exists; it is not listed anywhere in Article II Secs 2 3. Johnson has just proven why he was selected to run DHS.

Touting being an attorney for 30 years Johnson trivializes video of his boss admitting publicly he has no legal authority to change the law and under the same breath he is changed the narrative of the discussion suggesting there is convenient editing of obamas words. The DHS Secretary is a another professor of propaganda, a devout soldier to the emperors radical destructive agenda. Watch it again and look at the smug look on his face sitting there where you know he has total contempt for Rep Chaffetz and everyone in that room not in lock-step with that radical agenda he is helping to advance!

Even more infuriating is Johnson's carefree attitude over the 4 Turkish terrorists caught on the border who have not been deported. Two detained are still in deportation proceedings and the other 2 were released by an immigration judge who "fled to Canada" seeking asylum! Whether they are granted asylum or not you know they'll come back to the US to finish whatever they have planned out to do here!

Sec Johnson is an example of the consequences elections have. Maybe with a different Senate he wouldn't have been confirmed, we'll never know, but now we have to deal with this radical undermining US sovereignty & security.

Obama Will Announce His Amnesty Plans Thursday Night in Primetime Address

In an earlier post CNBC's John Harwood reported his majesty will announce his plans to grant amnesty from Las Vegas. Darth Hussein himself has now spoken from the imperial throne room to say he will be laying his plans out Thursday night in a primetime address "to start fixing our broken immigration system"!

So it would appear Thurs the emperor will make his case to the country and then when he appears at Del Sol High School in Las Vegas he will take his magic pen and make it official. This makes sense now for the actual executive action to be issued in NV because of the massive number of illegals dwelling there under the protection of Harry Reid.

Regardless of when and where, it is happening this week and there is nothing any of us can do about it. Now you will learn America especially those of you who refused to vote in 2012 that elections have consequences.

Maybe being turned into second class citizens will be the lesson many Americans need to feel to understand "not to speak is to speak". Your silence and lack of action has given this monster the green light to act against the will of the people.

If you listen to what Darth Hussein opens with, it sounds reasonable but the nation heard this same song and dance when Reagan was President. He got duped into amnesty with all these bells and whistles that NEVER got implemented. Comprehensive immigration reform must be DOA.

Darth Hussein’s “bipartisan… I want to work with Congress” position is really an ultimatum: pass the Senates immigration bill (which is an equivalent nightmare to obamacare) or he will act on his own. The House must be stopped from voting on the Senates Gang of 8 immigration bill, because just like in ’86 none of the conditions to the bill will ever be met. The Senates bill was NOT a bipartisan bill since both faces of the Senate are progressive at heart.

Congress has proven time and again they are incapable of enforcing laws already on the books thinking the best solution is another law! The emperor knows the new Congress won’t be sworn in until next year but acts like they have power now to act on immigration. What he is banking on is getting the Gang of 8’s bill through the lame duck session because he knows the new Congress will not vote for this destructive bill.

The immigration system is broken because DC broke it. They are not enforcing the laws already on the books that could have stopped half the headaches we have right now. The only bill that should be up for a vote is a clean, clear border security bill. No 1200-2000 page bills with all kinds of pork and loopholes buried in them.
Lock the border down.
Set up an ID program to fingerprint every single illegal so those who do get thrown out cannot slip back in and leach off the system.
Build a fence that cannot be climbed so easily (a wall would be better).
Reign in the visa program throwing anyone who is here on an expired visa out. Students must be attending a REAL school not some local tech training school otherwise they go sent home.
Immediate deportation of any and all criminal illegals.
Go after businesses who hire illegals with brutal fines even jail time.
Cut off all entitlements and most importantly stop anchor babies!

When a security bill is in place then they can talk about what to do with those here. Simple solution since we cannot deport 11 million at once is to make it difficult for illegals to be here they will self deport!

Obama: I am Going to Make it "Easier" for Illegals to Stay in America

Best and brightest are not coming to this country in waves at our souther border. The emperor also left out that those who came here in waves did it LEGALLY and they assimilated into our culture.
