Gaetz Exposes Gowdy For Denying GOP Subpoena Requests in 2018

Rep Maetz called fmr Rep Trey Gowdy out for denying GOP subpoena requests when he was the Oversight Cmte Chair 2018. The democrats subpoenaed people they wanted to speak with about the Russia investigation but now we learn it was Gowdy and Ryan preventing the GOP of having their opportunity to get answers from those involved in the attempted coup against Pres Trump!

This right here is Exhibit "A" as to why the content on this site changed. There used to be many posts about this Rep and that Senator blasting dems, certain judges rants too, some featured many times. So what happened? They're all talk and no action.

Trey Gowdy was great thundering away on witnesses and calling out dems, just like other GOP members, in Congressional hearings, but nothing ever came of it. They had subpoena power, but weren't subpoenaing people as Gaetz points out. As far as getting people prosecuted, they don't have the power and IMO it's why Gowdy, a prosecutor you can see old appearances of on investigative shows on the ID channel, resigned and went back to civilian life.

Paul Ryan was also a problem. Before he became one of "them", he sounded great on financial issues BEFORE he was Romney's running mate in 2012. But then after the '12 loss he was practically MIA, where we were only to learn he was spending all his time behind the scenes working on amnesty with fmr dem Rep Luis Gutierrez! He changed, then became House Speaker doing an okay job, where again we learn from Gaetz he was sandbagging the GOP from getting answers.

It's rarity for people to go to DC with the best intentions in the world only to get eaten alive by the machine (lobbyists) where they start changing their tune. Mike Lee is another example, he's changed in his dealings with Google and working on immigration.

These guys in Congress can't be trusted the way we'd like to. It's not about what they say it's about what they do. Gaetz here does a lot of talking, look at what he does. Fact he outs Gowdy over this bs witch hunt is a good thing, but it doesn't mean this site will post endless clips of him.

Look at what they do, not what they say. This is why people like/ love Trump. They know he has a mouth, he's repetitive, talks a lot but he actually does what he says he's going to do, far more than any other President or Congress member!

Gowdy has some explaining to do but it doesn't matter now, he's out of office. Let what he did be a warning to not put these people in Congress on a pedestal. Hold them to their word, demand results not talk and empty promises.

Trey Gowdy belongs in a court room prosecuting criminals as he demonstrates here going over the facts of the IG report laying out a devastating case against Lisa Page, Peter Strzok and the DOJ/FBI. There is no question about it the soft coup Deep State conspirators cut Hillary Clinton loose to do everything in their power to stop Trump. There is no doubt there is bias within the DOJ/FBI, just no smoking gun text memo or email of those involved blatantly saying it. Their actions and lack of anything pro-Trump/ anti-Hillary is all the proof people need.

Gowdy has come under a lot of criticism over the last year or so as all talk - do nothing. In his defense he/ Congress members have no power to bring people to justice. Congress has no prosecutorial powers, they can only refer to the DOJ to prosecute. Obviously with the current leadership in the DOJ NOTHING will happen to the corrupt within our govt. The level of corruption and hate for Pres Trump is off the charts. Strzok, Page, Comey, Lynch, Rosenstein etc should all face criminal charges for obstruction of justice, interfering with a presidential election and sedition now that Trump is president with this cooked up witch hunt!

In the end no one involved with the soft coup will see the world from behind bars, the US is a Banana Republic.

GOP Reps Grill Deputy AG Rosenstein Over Anti-Trump Bias By Special Investigation - Video

Jim Jordan and Trey Gowdy grilled Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein over the clear bias and, many strongly argue corruption, going on in the Trump special investigation, led by Robert Mueller. In the wake of thousands of text messages being released by Peter Strzok as well as other info on members of Mueller's team, Rosenstein gave typical uninformative answers during the Judiciary hearing. He even tried to get out of answering some questions only to be snapped back as Jordan points out that the DOJ is under the committee's oversight!

Gowdy hit the AG with concerns over clear examples of conflicts of interest, yet Rosenstein didn't seem concerned. Why should he when he himself is as dirty as those already exposed!

Rosenstein commented he has total confidence in Mueller, citing his military history etc, but gave weak answers if not deflected on why so many Clinton/ obama loyalists are on his team. To date no crime has been committed, so the very existence of a special counsel is questioned. Mueller and co are trying to find a crime to pin on Trump. Couple that with everything Jordan, Gowdy and others laid out tell me again there isn't a silent coup taking place by Clinton/ obama/ GOPe loyalists!?

If it wasn't clear when Comey testified it should be today, after obama's DHS sec Jeh Johnson's testimony, that this quest against Trump of Russian collusion is over. Fmr prosecutors like Rudy Giuliani have weighed-in agreeing Clinton has broken multiple laws. FBI Director James Comey took it upon himself to change the law, on the fly, to deem there was no intent by Clinton when intent IS NOT a legal test for just one, USC 18 793(f), of the many laws she broke. This man has demonstrated he is either extremely incompetent or as we all believe corrupt to the core. Trey Gowdy systematically took the DHS Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Office of Screening Coordination, Kelli Ann Burriesci, apart over the lack of due process for those on the no-fly list that the obama regime wants to take away their Second Amendment rights. Gowdy took it a step further questioning Burriesci using other rights showing how out of control this govt can become.

Americans Constitutional rights should never be refused because one is on a watch list, especially a seriously flawed list. It has been reported that half of the people on the no-fly list are completely innocent. Reporters, former US Senators and Representatives, children, elderly and 72 DHS employees are on said list. The act of arming Libyan rebels backed by al Qaeda is no different from directly arming al Qaeda and other terror groups! We have a bona fide case of an act of treason committed by this administration!

All we need is one or two people to come forward and name names within the State Dept and obama admin to bring this House of Cards down once and for all. Trey Gowdy: I Want to See Every Solitary Document on Benghazi

The best thing Rep Issa did was making Trey Gowdy the chairman of the select committee to investigate Benghazi. The demoncrats are not happy because he is a competent former prosecutor not some partisan hack that they would normally cough up to bury an issue!

People though need to manage their expectations with this investigation to not expect the best outcome! Gowdy himself is expecting to see all the original documents but as we know already the regime has tried to pass off redacted information to hide the truth from Congress. He points out his hopes that all the documents have not been destroyed, but I warn you now to expect that! Tommy Vietor demonstrated his as well as many within the regime are prepared to lay on their swords to protect emperor obama. The destruction of documents that point fingers at individuals will happen if it hasn't already. We can only hope some of the witnesses Gowdy knows of will come forward with proof that will point to individuals Congress will be able to hold accountable. It will be quite entertaining to hear the regime say information doesn't exist only to have a witness come forward in possession of something that was claimed gone! All I can say in the months to come is hope for the best but prepare for the worst!

Rep Trey Gowdy: Lois Lerner Waived Her 5th Amendment Rights

This is a nice show put on by the Oversight Committee but I expect someone to come to Lerner's aid, remember his majesty has a pen and a phone!

IF Lois Lerner goes to jail you can thank Trey Gowdy! He was the one last year that pointed out she couldn't make her statement and then pull the 5th Amendment. Lerner is protecting the imperial regime I have no doubt the order/ blessing to target conservative and TEA Party groups came from high up. This woman isn't smart enough to come up with it on her own to climb the DC ladder her testimony last year that has led to all of this is a clear indicator. A casual conversation took place with coded language giving her the go and IMO it probably came from Sub-President Jarrett.
