Americans have different chemicals, bacteria, vaccines etc going through their systems that Africans do not and vice versa. A “new bug” being introduced into our system will react differently than it would in Africa. People catch stomach bugs all the time when they travel eating and drinking things that do not affect natives of the country being visited.The same type of logic can be applied to Ebola and I find it incredibly irresponsible and reckless to tell people no worries all is well.
